Welcome to Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru.

It is our esteemed pleasure and privilege to host the 45th AMASI skill course in our Garden

city from 25th August to 27th August 2016. Bengaluru has always been the forefront with

respect to academics and training of young surgeons.

AMASI skill course would attempt to impart comprehensive knowledge and skills in basic as

well as advanced laparoscopic surgery with an ultimate aim of training all surgeons

including gynaecologists to perform minimal access surgery. On the last day of the skill

course, FMAS Examination will be conducted which includes written test based on MCQs,

Viva voce and skill tests with endo trainers. Successful candidates will be awarded with

fellowship in minimal access surgery.
