Saturday 7 August UNSW v Kings Old Boys Dave Phillips Oval 10.45 – Colts 12.00 – 4th Grade 12.55 – 3rd Grade 2.00 – 2nd Grade 3.15 – 1st Grade UNSW School of Risk & Safety Sciences will be conducting a Tackle Study at this weekend’s home game. Each player would be asked to tackle an instrumented tackle bag 5 times with no headgear and 5 times with headgear (headgear will be provided on the day for those who don’t have one). The participant would be asked to complete a brief questionnaire. It might take 15-20 minutes per person. It’s completely voluntary, but they offer a small incentive, a $25 Coles/Myer voucher to each participant. All players who volunteer would be asked to sign a consent form. INCORRECT CORRECT Sensational effort by the raffle ticket this week, bringing some much needed coin into the coffers to keep your fees down next year! ONE WEEK LEFT! With only one week left to sell the books, we need to do some hard work to meet the goal for the bar tab. Sell your books, get another one off Vella at Saturdays game, and return them next week to help us keep the club from calling in Dorf and Zippy. Unfortunately our slow start to the season has put us a little to far behind to be challenging for the top spot in club champs this year. The race between Barker and Hunters Hill will be a good one to watch.
