Involves students in the selection of materials that they want to research, giving them a sense of investment.

Suggestions for the Future:

Design a generic presentation to educate students on materials selection and give them a sense of investment beyond the class.

Develop standardized strategies for tackling handwritten and heavily edited documents.

Create a training manual or web tutorial on the scanning process so that staff can be recruited and quickly mobilized to deal with large volume, time-sensitive digitization projects.
