i2b2 - Informatics for Integrating Biology & the Bedside

An advanced cohort discovery and analysis tool

NIH-funded National Center for Biomedical Computing based at Partners Health Care System

Adopted by the CTSA network

What is i2b2?

Easier to use interface Increased number of health system clinical

data sources Becoming the standard for cohort discovery

at other leading research institutions Recently Approved as a pre-IRB, pre-grant

cohort discovery tool

UMi2b2 Cohort vs. iFeasible

Enable researchers to more effectively identify potential research subjects for clinical trials.

Advance clinical trial recruitment and improve health care research at the University of Michigan.
