Research fields of the chair are:

RESEARCH PROGRAMME Textiles and Ecology

Goals of the research programme:

Functionalization of textiles for products with new and improved properties

(high added value products)

Optimisation of the procedures for textile functionalization (preparation of textiles and auxiliaries)

Rationalization of finishing processes and introduction of ecologically friendly processes

Transfer of laboratory results into new industrial procedures

Expanding the use of functional textiles into other economic fields

The programme includes basic (60 %), applied and target oriented researches in all fields of textile production and ecology. 16 researchers included.
