As in previous years, ECIW2013 will address elements of both theory and practice of all aspects of Information Warfare and Security, and offers an opportunity for academics, practitioners and consultants involved in these areas to come together and exchange ideas.

We want to continue in emphasizing the area of Cyber Security, Cyber Defence and Social Media. The field of Cyber Security and Defence has long been characterized by the lack of a holistic approach. Cyber Security and Defence must be based on a comprehensive approach.Social Media is more important to everybody in the future virtual world.
