Problem Statement: FSAE Competition International collegiate design competition in which student teams design, manufacture and compete small Formula 1 style race cars. Race cars to be manufactured with the best overall package of design, construction, cost and performance. 1000 possible points to be scored throughout Static and Dynamic Events Static Events: Design Presentation, Cost Presentation and Business presentation Dynamic Events: Acceleration, Skidpad, Autocross, Endurance, Efficiency Our Competition: FSAE Electric 2021 Chassis: Design Validation MIG welding to nodes on chassis Weight load RWR 2019-2020 Mission Statement The 2019-2020 Rainbow Warrior Racing team will design and build, by May 2020, a simple and reliable prototype electric race car to serve as a foundational model for future RWR teams. The prototype shall strictly adhere to the Formula SAE Electric Rules with a performance focus on endurance capabilities.
