HOT PEPPERS
HABAÑERO CHILI (75‐100 days) EXTRA HOT. Blocky, wrinkled peppers, 2” inches long and slightly less wide. Mature from silvery‐green to bright orange. Yield potential is good, but can be erratic in the cooler locations. May be used fresh or dried. Be sure to wear gloves when handling! MG Seed Stock SERRANO HOT ROD (57‐77 days) HOT. Narrow 3" fruits. Has a long harvest period and high
yield. When allowed to ripen to red, this is the chipotle pepper.

SERRANO TAMPIQUEÑO (60‐80 days) HOT. A small, narrow pepper, growing on a bushy plant 2' wide & 2’ tall. Popular in salsas, sauces, soups, stews and pickling. Seeds may be removed to reduce the heat. MG Seed Stock BEAVER DAM (80 days) MEDIUM HOT. Hungarian Pepper brought to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
in 1912 by the Joe Hussli family. Fruits are mildly hot when seeded. Good stuffing pepper. Ark of

HUNGARIAN YELLOW WAX (75‐80 days) MEDIUM HOT. This pepper has a waxy texture
that resembles bees’ wax. This pepper ripens from yellow to orange‐red. A versatile pepper,

JALAFUEGO JALAPEÑO (65‐85 days) MEDIUM HOT. A large, vigorous plant with excellent
yield of extra‐large, very dark green fruits. Good resistance to cracking. This is the hottest
jalapeño pepper in the market.

PICANTE CALABRESE (75‐85 days) MEDIUM HOT. This pepper is known in Italy as the "Devil's
Kiss". It is a small, round pepper, one to two inches in diameter, and will be bright red when ripe.
This is a classic Italian hot pepper used fresh or for pickling. It can also be dried.

ANCHO POBLONO (70‐88 days) MILDLY HOT. Upright plant with 4‐5" long, heart‐shaped
fruit. Good yield in cool climates. Perfect for stuffing, but they can also be dried, ground and
used as chili powder.

NUMEX JOE E PARKER (70‐90 days) MILDLY HOT. Long narrow pepper on a medium‐tall plant. It ripens from bright green to deep red, but is mostly consumed green. Thick, crisp flesh with a delicious, mild heat. Good stuffing, roasting and grilling. MG Seed Stock PADRÓN (60‐70 days) VERY MILD. For mild peppers, harvest Padrón peppers when they are 1‐1½" long. SWEET & SPICY PEPPERS
CAJUN BELLE (60‐70 days) SWEET & SPICY. This pepper is a mini‐bell and is both an
ornamental and edible. Compact growing habit 2’ wide and 2’ high makes it ideal for containers.
Prized for its flavor, the perfect combination of sweet and mildly spicy. Ripens to deep scarlet and
is disease‐resistant. Vigorous and prolific.

CORNO di TORO GIALLO (70‐80 days) SWEET & SPICY. This pepper is named "bull's horn" for
its distinctive twisted shape. It has very large, 8‐inch fruit and matures to dark red. Taste is both

MAXIBELLE (75‐85 days) SWEET & SPICY. Unique hybrid pepper combines the best

SHISHITO (60‐75 days) SWEET & SPICY. Slender fruits are 2‐4” long and 1” wide. 18” tall, bushy
plants are abundantly productive. Typically harvested and used green, but if allowed to turn
orange‐red this pepper will have a slightly sweeter flavor. Thin walls make it especially well‐
suited to roasting, frying or grilling, taking on rich flavor. Recommended for Asian cooking.

SWEET PEPPERS
CANARY BELL (72‐80 days) SWEET. This bright yellow pepper is a superior sweet pepper with exceptional flavor. It is a thick‐walled pepper. This pepper will set fruit early and will continue to produce throughout summer. It’s a great accent in salads, and is deliciously sweet when sautéed or grilled. IKO IKO (80‐85 days) SWEET. Iko Iko produces a carnival blend of purple, yellow, tangerine and
red peppers as it ripens. Excellent flavor. High‐yielding, upright plants have good leaf cover. A

RED SKIN PATIO (65‐70 days) SWEET. Very early fruiting, plants are compact, dwarf, 12‐16” tall
and produce large 4‐5” bells that ripen from green to red. A great performer in patio containers as
well as in vegetable gardens, this pepper is heavy bearing.

SHEEPNOSE PIMENTO (70‐80 days) SWEET. This pepper has a distinctive tomato shape.
Exceedingly flavorful with sweet, juicy flesh, it keeps for an extended period when refrigerated.

TOPEPO ROSSO (55‐70 days) SWEET. Fruit measures 2‐3” wide by 2” tall and resembles a
tomato. Uniquely shaped, this squat, smooth‐skinned, rounded fruit has extra thick, meaty walls
with slight ribbing. Topepo Rosso is a pimiento‐type pepper. Upright habit and good leaf cover.
