Disaster Preparedness & Planning: Disasters have immense social and economic impact on families and communities. This can be dramatically reduced if proactive steps are taken. Disaster readiness is a priority of the Red Cross. Emergency Disaster Assistance: Red Cross disaster relief services focuses on meeting basic human need of persons affected by a disaster, whether large or small. Arc of Greater New Orleans (504) 837-5140 www.arcgno.org Employment Services: The Arc of Greater New Orleans primarily serves individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. Family Service Coordination: Family Service Coordination is targeted case management for children birth to three with developmental delays/disabilities and their families. Through Early Steps, Louisiana's Early Intervention program, the Family Service Coordinators will coordinate needed early intervention services such as physical therapy, speech therapy and vision services to name a few. The Coordinator will also provide referrals to vital community resources as well as empower the family to advocate for their child. Individual Options/Health and Fitness: Individual Options provides support and assistance for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate in Community volunteer work, health/leisure activities and other community activities. Uptown Learning Center: The Arc's Uptown Learning Center is a class "A" licensed childcare facility that provides quality child care services to children 6 weeks to 5 years of age with and without developmental delays/disabilities. Our Center is a participant in the Quality Rating System. We offer a well rounded, secure and professional environment for children to learn and grow.

Scouting offers educational programs that teach leadership skills, survival skills, ethical values, character, caring skills, citizenship, and responsibility. Scouting builds real self-esteem and self-respect while giving boys, young men and young women opportunities to explore new horizons, achieve recognition, and participate in physical and mental fitness programs. Power Hour's goal is to improve the academic achievement of members by helping them become self-directed, resourceful and confident learners. Bright School for the Deaf (504) 897-2145 www.thebrightschool.org Language Says It All and Itinerant Services: The Bright Schools provides individualized and small group language and speech lessons in a center based program with an option for a full inclusion program in a local childcare or itinerant services in homes or other settings. The school also provides education, unbiased information and support for families, caregivers and other professionals. There is a special emphasis on children with cochlear implants. Cancer Association of Greater New Orleans (504) 733-5539 www.cagno.org Health Education: CAGNO strongly believes that education is a key tool in lowering cancer incidence and mortality in the Greater New Orleans area, by offering a variety of classes in cancer prevention to area schools and businesses. Patient Services: CAGNO's patient services program provides vital prescription medications and necessities to cancer patients who otherwise would have to do without. These include individuals who do not qualify for government assistance and cannot afford medical insurance.

The Head Start program's objective is to academically and socially prepare children for kindergarten. Knowledge that their children are in a safe, nurturing learning environment helps parents focus on their attention on employment and other important family issues. Education Services - Adult Education: Adult Education offers ESL, Citizenship, & Computer classes to hundreds of adult learners, annually. Morning & evening classes are available in Orleans, Jefferson, & Plaquemines Parishes. Emergency Shelter Program: CCANO Homeless Services work together and with the wider community to provide comprehensive services to move individuals/families from homelessness to self sufficiency. Parish & Community Ministries: Parish & Community Ministries provides short-term case management with limited direct assistance & food distribution at 2 locations. Adult Day Health Care: The Adult Day Health Care Programs of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans provide full-day services (Monday - Friday) to geriatric individuals and persons diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Services offered include: nutritional meals, health screenings and monitoring, medication administration, exercise, social activities, field trips, music, art, reminiscence and intergenerational projects. Counseling Solutions: Counseling Solutions of Catholic Charities provides affordable mental health counseling to the Greater New Orleans Area. We have licensed mental health professionals who provide individual, couples and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults and a psychiatrist who provides medication management to adults. Deaf Action Center: Deaf Action Center of Greater New Orleans is a community service program for Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing individuals that provides 24-hourinterpreter services, client support, Sign Language classes, and information and referral. City Year Louisiana (504) 561-1290 www.cityyear.org Whole School, Whole Child: City Year unites young people (corps members/18-24 year olds) from diverse backgrounds for a year of fulltime service in the nations' poorest schools with the highest dropout rates. By serving as mentors and tutors to help students academically succeed, City Year corps members are helping students stay in alcohol and on track to graduate and closing the achievement gap between the socioeconomically disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged. College Track (504)-577-2024 www.collegetrack.com College Track: College Track provides intensive academic support for students who are rising freshmen until their entrance into college. The program's design focuses on developing the model college applicant with a focus on academics, community service and leadership development. Students participate through summer experiences and after-school programming throughout the school year. Ninety percent of College Track students report taking better notes in class, completing their homework, practicing skills learned in school and having a better understanding of their coursework. Communities In Schools of Greater New Orleans, Inc. (504) 486-8002 www.CISNewOrleans.org Eliminating Roadblocks to School Success: Eliminating Roadblocks to School Success/CIS Mentoring is an initiative which utilizes the nation's most effective model for lowering dropout rates and increasing graduation rates (Communities In Schools) in combination with the best practices in mentoring to improve the academic success of public school students. 200 volunteers will be trained and matched with CIS students in 10 schools to provide a caring adult without any other objective than to be the supportive guide and adult support that young people need as they navigate the challenges of achieving academic success and social and emotional development. Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse for Greater New Orleans [CADA] (504)362-4272 www.cadagno.org Alcohol & Substance Abuse Prevention Education: The Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse for Greater New Orleans (CADA), founded in 1960, is a non-profit community health agency that provides substance abuse prevention, assessment, and early intervention services to individuals and families in the Greater New Orleans area (i.e., the parishes of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. Charles, and Plaquemines). CADA has a comprehensive array of substance abuse prevention and early intervention services that target various constituencies of youth and adults. Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children - CASA New Orleans (504) 522-1962 www.casaneworleans.org Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program: CASA New Orleans provides quality advocacy for children in the foster care system. Volunteer advocates are recruited, trained and supervised to be the eyes and ears of the court and monitor the safety and well being of children in foster care to help the juvenile court judges find safe, permanent homes for abused and neglected children in state's custody. Dental Lifeline Network - Louisiana (800) 946-6016 www.dentallifeline.org New Orleans Donated Dental Services (DDS) Program: The Donated Dental Services (DDS) Program helps New Orleans residents with mental or physical disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile and cannot afford or access treatment for severe dental problems. A network of 155 volunteer dentists and 57 dental labs donate comprehensive care to restore the oral health of such vulnerable individuals. During the 2012/2013 fiscal year, the DDS program will help 113 New Orleans residents access $330,000 in donated treatment. Dryades Young Men's Christian Assn. We seek to provide child care that supports and strengthens families and nurtures the healthy, successful growth and development of each child in spirit, mind, and body.

Youth Development: Youth Development Outreach Initiative provides programs that foster the development of self esteem through mental, social and physical activities. It is designed to direct the energies of the youth through sports, camping, and after school activities. Dryades YMCA strives to help each young person develop a sense of personal and social responsibility. East St Tammany Rainbow Child Care Center Inc. Family Service of Greater New Orleans (504) 822-0800 www.fsgno.org Counseling Program: Family Service of Greater New Orleans provides mental health services to individuals, children and families who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, addiction, strained relationships and other challenging issues. Family Service utilizes trained mental health professionals to provide a safe and comfortable environment for clients to address their treatment goals. Domestic Violence Intervention Program: The Domestic Violence Intervention Program at Family Service of Greater New Orleans provides intervention services to treat the perpetrators of domestic violence. Through 26 weeks of psychoeducational group utilizing the Duluth Model, clients develop new skills to deal with conflict, anger and stress. The Foundation for the L.S.U. Health Sciences Center 1-888-599-1073 http://labchp.lsuhsc.edu Louisiana Cancer Prevention and Control Programs: The Louisiana Breast and Cervical Health Program (LBCHP) at the LSUHSC School of Public Health, is the state's CDC National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) program. Under or under insured patients who are of low-income, between the ages of 40-64 or women of any age with breast symptoms are eligible for breast cancer screening services and mammography at no cost. Healing Hearts for Community Development (504) 833-4673 www.healingheartsnola.org Celebration Hope Center Trauma Counseling: The Celebration Hope Center's Trauma Counseling Program provides intensive mental health counseling for children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based strategies to help their clients obtain sustained recovery so that they can live happy and productive lives.

Jewish Community Center (504) 897-0143 www.nojcc.org Elderly Services: The JCC Elderly Services Program addresses the needs in our community of lack of social/community-based activities in our area for aged clients, lack of dementia services (particularly for Alzheimer's patients), and the need for caregiver/family support. Nursery School/ Day Care: The Jewish Community Center Nursery School and day care program is committed to providing a high-quality; age-appropriate curriculum taught by a faculty of professional early childhood educators to ensure children are ready to learn when they start elementary school. JFS' main office is located in Metairie with satellite offices in Uptown New Orleans and in Mandeville on the Northshore. Homemaker/Lifeline: Jewish Family Service of Greater New Orleans' Homemaker/Lifeline program provides affordable assistance with activities of daily living and an emergency response system for the elderly and disabled of the Greater New Orleans area including the parishes of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Bernard and Plaquemines. Teen Life Counts: Teen Life Counts is a suicide prevention and awareness program dedicated to preventing youth from choosing a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Teen Life Counts seeks to educate youth to recognize the warning signs of depression, anxiety, and suicide in their peers and to reach out to a trusted adult. Teen Life Counts reaches over 5000 youth each year. Kingsley House (504) 523-6221 kingsleyhouse.org Community Counseling Center: Our Community Counseling Center offers early intervention and preventive counseling and supportive services to individuals and families residing in Orleans, Jefferson and St. Bernard Parishes. Therapeutic intervention for depression, anxiety, grief/loss and anger management as well as marriage and family is addressed in the home or at one of our two office locations in New Orleans Metro and New Orleans East. The program also conducts life skills groups for teen-aged students in several partner schools throughout the region.

Headstart Program: The Kingsley House Head Start and Early Head Start programs currently serve economically disadvantaged children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, and their families. Kingsley House provides center-based Early Head Start for 32 infants and toddlers, home-based Family Child Care for 24 infant and toddlers, and center-based Head Start for 140 3-5 year old children. Kingsley House ADHC Services: Kingsley House Adult Services provides Adult Day Healthcare to the elderly and medically disabled. Youth Services - After School & Teen Programs: Youth Services provides high quality out-of-school time programming in our After School and Teen Programs. Services provided consist of homework assistance, tutoring, substance abuse and violence prevention education, life skills, and recreational activities, including field trips. In addition to offering a choice of activities in both small and large group interactions; cultural, drama, dance, music, and creative arts opportunities; problem solving and reasoning skills practice; opportunities for discussion, decision making, leadership and physical activities that do not emphasize competition. The program offers safe places and developmentally appropriate art, music, journaling and play-based activities with therapeutic value. The Aging-in-Place program with Neighborhood Housing Service is a proven system of getting high quality repairs, retrofits and modifications made to a home with reliable and proven local contractors without the fear of contractor fraud. A trained and experienced Construction Specialist works with the homeowner throughout the entire process to answer questions and to be sure the work is done correctly and efficiently. HomeOwnership Center: Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) provides education and tools needed to assist working class families build wealth and build communities in and around New Orleans. New Heights Therapy Center, Inc. (985) 796-3677 NewHeightsTherapy.org New Heights Therapeutic Riding: New Heights Therapy Center, doing business as New Heights Therapeutic Riding, provides therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with physical, emotional and learning disabilities. The organization, located in St. Tammany Parish and serving Southeast Louisiana for over 13 years, is a 501 (c)(3) exempt organization. New Orleans Family Justice Center (504) 592-4005 www.neworleansfjc.org New Orleans Family Justice Center: The New Orleans Family Justice Center is a comprehensive victim's services center serving victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. New Orleans Speech and Hearing Center (504) 897-2606 www.noshc.org Outpatient Rehab - Adults: NOSHC provides hearing evaluations and dispenses hearing aids resulting in improved quality of life through improved communication, increased independence and socialization, and diminished isolation. Outpatient Rehab- Children: NOSHC addresses the needs of children with communication disorder through early identification, evaluation, and treatment. Through the therapy process the children develop to their maximum capacity. NO/AIDS Task Force (504) 821-2601 www.noaidstaskforce.org HIV Prevention: NO/AIDS Task Force's mission is "To reduce the spread of HIV infection, provide services, advocate empowerment, safeguard the rights and dignity of HIV affected individuals, and provide for an enlightened public." The HIV Prevention Department of NO/AIDS provides many services & programs: HIV Counseling, Testing, and Referral, Outreach & Prevention Materials Availability, RESPECT, Mpowerment programs, Comprehensive Risk & Counseling Services, CDC National HIV Behavioral Surveillance Project (NHBS), GLBTQ Health & Wellness program, Curbing HIV/AIDS Transmission (CHAT) for at-risk minority adolescents, and an outreach component to the SAMHSA Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals who are dealing with being HIV infected and substance use/abuse. NO/AIDS Task Force Medication Assistance Program: The purpose of the NO/AIDS Task Force Medication Assistance Program is to provide life-saving medications for men, women, and children living with HIV disease in the Greater New Orleans area. The organization's Medication Assistance Program helps people living with HIV/AIDS adhere to their prescribed treatment regimen by paying for medications for which the individual has no other payment source. Northshore Disaster Recovery Inc., dba The Epworth Project (985) 781-7990 www.epworthproject.com The Epworth Project: Epworth Project is a No Place Like Home Partner Agency that recruits volunteers nationally to assist regional low income and elderly homeowners with rebuilds and repairs of their homes that have been damaged by natural disasters, fires and / or deferred maintenance. The Epworth Project provides housing, food, transportation, recreation, tools, equipment, funding and project management to our volunteers while providing case management services and a well-established range of referral resources to our clients who reside in St. Tammany, Washington, Orleans, Jefferson, and St Bernard parishes in Louisiana, and Pearl River County in Mississippi. Odyssey House Louisiana Inc. Plaquemines Community C.A.R.E. Centers Foundation, Inc. (504) 393-5750 www.pcccf.org Behavioral Health in Plaquemines Parish: The agency fosters the behavioral health morale of the community by enhancing the quality of life of residents and utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach by serving as an Advocacy Center for Children, Elderly, and Disabled Persons, and a comprehensive, multi-service Counseling, Resource and Wellness Center for children, families, individuals, couples, and victims in Plaquemines Parish. Areas Addressed in Counseling: Relationships, Anger, Depression, Self-Esteem, Abuse and Violence, School, Educational, or Career, Adjustments, ADHD, Anxiety, Phobias, Parenting, and Divorce. Other services available include Tutoring, Parenting and Cooperative Parenting Groups, Psychological Testing for Children and Adolescents, Psychiatry, and Counseling in area schools. Substance Abuse Treatment in Plaquemines Parish: The Substance Abuse Treatment Program provides assessment for level of treatment needed in regards to substance use. Referrals are made for inpatient treatment. Intensive Outpatient Treatment utilizing the Matrix Model is provided as well as drug education classes. Project Homecoming (504) 942-0444 www.projecthomecoming.net Homebuyer Program: This program develops energy efficient, durable homes that are affordable for low and moderate homebuyers and provides homebuyers with case management and ongoing support to insure successful achievement of homeownership. Job Training Program: The Job Training program provides supervised, structured on the job construction training for at risk young adults and low-income, unemployed adults who apply these skills to building affordable housing. Project Homecoming: A No Place Like Home (NPLH) Partner Agency, Project Homecoming is a faith-based, nonprofit community development organization building resilient neighborhoods in the Greater New Orleans. We assist low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners in Orleans Parish with the rebuilding of their homes. We have rebuilt over 175 houses with the assistance of over 10,000 volunteers. We also transform blighted properties into safe, durable, affordable, and energy efficient homes for low-income homebuyers. Our On-the-Job training program offers unemployed workers in New Orleans an opportunity to gain workforce skills and experience in the construction industry. We work with volunteers locally and nationally who assist in our housing and community development initiatives. Raintree Children and Family Services (504) 899-9045 www.raintreeservices.org Raintree House- Afterschool Girls Club: Raintree House provides an array of services to at-risk girls in the Greater New Orleans Area. Raintree House identifies academically at-risk teenage girls and provides an afterschool educational component through the Afterschool Girls Club. The girls are taught social-emotional skills and provided tools to help them succeed in school and in life. The goal is to successfully increase positive social and emotional outcomes among at-risk teenage girls. Raintree Support Coordination Program: Raintree Family Support Coordination Program provides case management services to infants and toddlers from birth to 36 months who have been determined to have a developmental delay. Rosary Child Development Center (504) 254-1528 Rosary Child Development: At Rosary CDC, we believe that young children are inquisitive and eager to explore, create, and learn. Therefore we provide the children with stimulating environments that enhance growth in all areas of development: physical and intellectual, social, psychological, emotional, spiritual and moral. Royal Castle Child Development Center (504) 488-1045 Child Development Center: Royal Castle C.D.C. opened February 1996 Class A licensed childcare center. Located in Orleans Parish in the Hollygrove/Carrollton area, the center currently is licensed to serve 100 children and their families. Royal Castle C.D.C. is Nationally Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and has 5 stars in Louisiana Quality Start. Royal Castle provides high quality care and education with a low child-teacher ratio. Royal Castle is a place where we are preparing today's children to meet tomorrow's challenges. Safe Harbor (985) 626-5710 www.safeharbornorthshore.org Domestic Violence Program and Shelter: Safe Harbor is a non-profit, non-governmental agency that provides free, confidential, twenty-four hour service to survivors of domestic violence in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes. Established in 1992, Safe Harbor is the only domestic violence program in St. Tammany Parish that provides shelter exclusively for survivors who are rendered homeless because of domestic abuse. We prepare over 650 emergency boxes for layoff and fire victims, abandoned parents with children, homeless, and those referred to us through other social service agencies. Through the Feeding Tangipahoa Parish program, the neediest families and individuals in the parish will have their basic food needs met.
