Why Annual Reports & Why Now?

• Reports capture important information and updates about your program.

• The data you provide:

– Allow us to understand your progress towards goals.

– Allow us to understand the successes & challenges of your program.

• Information is used to communicate with a wide array of internal and

external United Way stakeholders.

• Data inform us of emerging themes and best practices & provide

opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Annual reports are now an eligibility requirement for upcoming RFPs.

What will you be submitting?

• January 1, 2014 – December 31, 2014 program year

• 2015 Board Rosters

by February 13, 2015 by 4:00pm via the United Way grants portal

Organization Financial Review• Partnering with CliftonLarsonAllen for new

process.• Stay tuned for changes in upcoming

document requirements.• NOT due at Annual Reporting time.• Will be due approximately 6 months after

your fiscal year-end.• Eligibility requirement for future RFPs.

• We’ve SHORTENED IT….this time around!**

• **This shortening does not apply to Jobs and

Training grantees. J&T grantees are expected to

complete a Narrative Questions report in addition to

submitting required indicators.

• Create Your Report Team• Prepare to Login• Login• Start a Report• Submit a Completed Report

Prepare to Login:Make Sure you have a Supported Browser

• Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) and above.• Firefox 3.6 and above

Also supported:

• Google Chrome• Safari 4.04 and above (including Safari on an iPad)

Prepare to Login:Register Everyone on Your Team

• If you received an initial password, you are registered– If you forgot your password, reset it from the login page

• If you need an initial password, visit: https://www.gtcuw.org/our_impact/for_nonprofits/funding/resources_for_funded_partners/annual_reporting/

• To fill out a form which includes such information as:– Legal Agency Name (and address for new agencies) – Your Full Name– Your Email Address– State whether you will need access to an existing application form

A Few Tips

• Save as you go

• Copy/paste from Word, but no formatting

• Use the scroll bar to move through the application

• Any registered staff can prepare and save the same

application, BUT, multiple staff working in the same spot

could overwrite each other

• Close out when not working on the report

Submit a Report

• Make sure all fields are completed

• Make sure all internal reviews are done

• Make sure the Executive Director approves

• Hit Submit

• On the Agency Dashboard, verify submission
