unitedwireless.com and you can read, reply, and send new emails from wherever your travels take you.

This service is included with your Internet account and can be accessed 24 hours a day from any Internet connection.

Spam FireWall: United has been using a spam

filter for the past few years and to date has blocked over 100 million spam and virus emails. This service is free of charge with each email account.

We can also setup additional email accounts for you and you can be assured that we will block the majority of spam emails. You can log into the spam firewall and change your settings and react to any email that may be caught or add an annoying spammer to the blocked list.

Wireless Internet: United Wireless now provides fixed wireless service in Dodge City, Minneola, Bucklin, Jetmore,Coldwater, Protection, Kinsley, and Meade. Other areas that we serveinclude Mullinville, Wilmore, Plains, Lewis, Offerle, Ford County,Hodgeman County, Edwards County, Kiowa County, Meade County, and surrounding areas.

Delivery speeds are between 300Kbps and 1.2Mbps depending on your location and terrain. Most installations consist of an external radio mounted on the roof or eave of your house and a simple Cat.5 wire-run to your computer.

HistoryUnited Telephone Association, Inc. was organized in 1951, by a group of farmers in the Ford County area who wanted telephone service in the rural area surrounding Dodge City, because they were unable to get Southwestern Bell Telephone to provide them any service.

In 1983, United Communications was established to provide cable TV service to 8 of 10 of United’s exchanges.

In 2000, United Communications rolled out its DSL Internet service in all of its exchanges.

In 2005, United Wireless was started as a way of bringing the latest technology to our customers. This service included both wireless Internet services and United Wireless cell phone services.

Today, United Wireless has 47 working tower sites in Southwest Kansas and thousands of satisfied customers. Ownership consists of the United Telephone customers so that all money stays in Southwest Kansas.

As our history expands so does the products and services we offer our customers.
