Logo Submission Tips

• Digital or camera-ready art

• PC or Mac

• Supported formats include: eps, pdf, ai, psd, jpg, tif, gad, dxf or dwg (zip compressed files accepted)

• Vector art with fonts embedded or as outlines, or high resolution raster files (files should be at least 150 dpi or higher at final size)

• Submit files via our FTP site (call for log-on information), or provide a CD, DVD, Zip disk or USB flash drive

• For all digitally printed art, Pantone® PMS colors will be translated to CMYK colors (some color shifting is normal) NOTE: For specific colors, please provide the CMYK or PMS values

• Scan from a high-quality print

• Scan logo with at least 600 dpi

• File size should be larger than 700KB and smaller than 5MB

Minimum Order:No minimum order required. $500.00 net annual purchases to maintainopen account status, with approved credit rating.

Payment Method:We accept cash, check or Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AmericanExpress. Unless payment is made in advance, or open credit has beenestablished, orders must be paid by credit card at time of shipment. Allchecks that are returned for non-su�cient funds may be subject to a$25.00 handling fee and will be presented to the bank for a secondtime. Please refer all inquires to corporate accounting.

Customers with Open Credit:Customers with federal ID numbers may complete a credit applica-tion applying for open credit subject to approval from corporateaccounting. Open credit terms are NET 30 days from date of invoicefor those accounts with approved credit. No cash discounts apply.Customers account statements will be sent monthly. Accounts will beconsidered past due when an invoice balance is open at 31 days andmay be placed on credit hold at 60 days. No further purchases orshipments on account will be allowed until the account is current.Late charges may be assessed on all past due accounts per the cus-tomer’s terms at the rate of 1½% per month. Seriously delinquentaccounts may be subject to third party collection and forfeiting openaccount privileges.

Sales Tax:All purchases are subject to state sales tax unless proof of exemption ispresented at the time of purchase. If proof is presented, the sales taxnumber must appear on the original receipt. No sales tax refunds willbe issued to customers without a completed exemption form.

“Specials” or “Non-Stock Orders”:All specials or non-stock items may require a deposit of 25% or morebefore the item will be ordered.

Warranty Items and Repairs:When returning a warranty part to United Sign, the part must beshipped to United Sign prepaid in full via UPS or reputable commoncarrier with reference to United Sign RMA number and proper paper-work.

Refunds:Return of items purchased by check may not be refunded for at least 14days from original receipt allowing the original check to clear the bank.Return of items purchased by credit card will be issued to the originalcredit card presented at the time of purchase according to return poli-cy. Returned items purchased on account will be credited to customeraccount. If there is an outstanding credit on account the customer willneed to contact corporate accounting for refund.

Shipping:Purchaser is responsible for all shipping and handling costs unless oth-erwise stated. Standard shipping charges include shipping, handling,residential charges and insured delivery. If no speci�c shipping instruc-tions are given by Purchaser, United Sign normally selects the carrier itbelieves to have the best service and discount to the Purchaser’s area.All in-stock parts ship within 24 hours (1 business day). Any item not in-stock will be placed on back order and will ship upon receiving mer-chandise unless otherwise stated.

Freight:All orders ship FOB Muskegon, Michigan. Purchaser must inspect ship-ment upon arrival. Lost or damaged merchandise is the responsibility ofthe carrier (Motor Freight, UPS, or other). Any shortage or damageshould be noted on the bill of lading. DO NOT REFUSE THE DELIVERY, ASTHIS MAY CAUSE UNNECESSARY DELIVERY AND STORAGE CHARGES,AND MAY OTHERWISE AFFECT THE CLAIM. If the shipment is returned toseller without the Purchaser �rst contacting the carrier for inspection, NOCLAIM can be �led. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION ORLIMITATION OF WARRANTIES OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAM-AGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY.

Returns:No shipped returns will be accepted without a Return MerchandiseAuthorization number (RMA). Please contact customer service at 1-800-821-6530 for return authorization. Unauthorized returns will notbe accepted. United Sign will pay freight only for the return of defec-tive or non-conforming goods, or goods shipped incorrectly by UnitedSign. United Sign will issue (1) call tag consisting of (3) pickup attemptsto retrieve damaged, defective or non-conforming goods, or goodsshipped incorrectly by United Sign. If after (3) pickup attempts, themerchandise has not been available for return, the PURCHASER mustreturn the merchandise at their own expense to receive any credit. A20% restocking fee, plus freight charges, will apply to goods returnedfor any other reason. To obtain credit on authorized returns, make sureall items are packaged properly. All items must be returned to UnitedSign in good condition within 60 days of their original delivery toPurchaser. No credit shall be given on any merchandise after 60 days oforiginal delivery. CUSTOM MERCHANDISE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

Visible Damage:In case of VISIBLE DAMAGE, the Purchaser must do the following:1. Have delivery person note the nature and extent of damages on the

freight bill.2. Immediately notify freight company to inspect the merchandise and

to provide claim forms.3. Save all packing material for inspection by freight company.4. File claim for damages as soon as possible. Purchaser may receive a

cash adjustment for full value, arrange to have repairs made, orrequest replacement of the merchandise, depending on �nal inspec-tion outcome.

Concealed Damage:If the damage is not noticed until the merchandise has been unpacked,Purchaser must notify the freight company immediately to have itinspected. Purchaser has 14 days from the date of delivery to call thefreight company, or the claim will be denied.
