UAE is situated in south west Asia, bordering the gulf of Oman and the persian gulf, between Oman and Saudi Arabia.

UAE is a strategic location along approaches to the strait of Hormuz,a vital transit point in the world.

It shares it borders with saudi Arabia, Oman, qatar with areas northwest still in dispute.

The system of government is federal hereditary monarchy

President: Khalifa bin zayed Al Nahyan Prime Minister: Mohammmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum The UAE had independence on 2nd December,1971.

Norminal GDP – 412.35 billion dollars(2013) which makes it 19th best in the world.

UAE is ranked 14th best nation in the world for doing business by the World Bank group.

Dubai is a great market place for International goods and services.

UAE provides major incentives for residential and commercial property development, making the real estate and business of mortgage very lucrative.

UAE has extensive diplomatic and commercial relations with other countries.

It plays a significant role in OPEC and the UNand one of the founding members of Gulf Corporation Council.

UAE has continuously been a major contributor of emergency relief to regions affected by conflict and natural disasters in developing world.

Tourism is the fastest growth sector of the UAE economy.

It is the 3rd largest contributor to the GDP. Dubai alone welcomed about 10 million

visitors in 2013 alone, and it is expected to reach 20 million by 2020.

This allows innovation in world class hotels and inns, international mix and diversity.

• It has signed an agreement with the U.S on nuclear cooperation and is a signatory to the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
