I think Mary really cares about other people and wants to help them. She does such an important job that many people are grateful to her. I hope to have a job like Mary’s when I finish school.

One day, Mary saw a TV programme about ORBIS. She learnt about the flying eye hospital. She wanted to help poor people so much that she decided to go back to school and train as a nure

Mandeep used to get up at 5 a.m. every morning. She worked on the farm all day. Her family was very poor, so Mandeep could not go to school and she could not read or write.

One day, a UNICEF worker came to her village. He gave Mandeep some books and she was very happy.

Now ,Mandeep goes to school every day. She can read and write. She enjoys school and is grateful to UNICEF for helping her.

Mandeep says that she hopes to become a teacher.

I think UNICEF is helpful for poor children.

I hope to work for UNICEF when I grow up.
