MEN’S CLUB Phil Mugavero, President First, we hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and has a healthy New Year.

Well, our first year as a Men's Club Board was a very nice success; and next year is going to start out with a

bang. Thursday, January 11th at 6pm, is our first meeting of the year. The second event, on Satur-day, January 20th at 6pm will be our baked had-

dock fish dinner, served with tiny roasted potatoes, cole slaw, and dinner rolls. The price this year is still $8; tickets will be on sale at Kaffee Klatch by Phil Mugavero. The next event is on Saturday, January 27th; our ever popular French Toast breakfast. The price again is the same as last year $3.50. Our final event in January is on Sunday, January 28th at 1:00 pm; will be our movie of the month, Wonder Woman. Admission is still free, but a canned good donation for our Food Bank will be appreciated. And, get this, soda & popcorn is free

WOMEN’S CLUB Deb Engstrom, President

Thank You - all who helped make our holiday party a success; beautiful decora-tions, delicious food, music, skits, laugh-ter, smiles, games and prizes. It was a great way to kick off the holiday sea-son. A special thanks to our men's club servers, Phil Mugavero, Jim Pennington,

John Kelly, Ed Hager, Skip George and Lloyd Ur-quhart. Also thanks to John and Ed for singing and Lloyd as Santa.

Coloring - Friday, January 5, 12:00 noon. Relax and color your cares away. Men are welcome too!

Luncheon/Meeting - Friday, January 19 at 12:00 noon. So that we can plan the food, YOU MUST SIGN UP ON THE BULLETIN BOARD IF YOU ARE AT-TENDING! We have a great speaker lined up who will speak on organizing, downsizing, and clutter con-trol. Everyone will pick up a few tips.

2nd Vice President - We are still in desperate need of a 2nd Vice President to coordinate the luncheons. Also need a luncheon committee for March and April.

Dues - Still 1997 prices! Only $10! Best deal in town! Can be paid to treasurer, Debbie Rhoads at the meet-ing or at Kaffee Klatch starting in January. All Unit 3 ladies are welcome to come; the first time as a guest and then, hopefully, join us as a member.

SOCIAL CLUB Barbara Konvicka, President Happy New Year to you all! Had a great 2017 for Unit 3 Social Club. Many special times and I appreciate all your support on our many projects. uary 13th, doors will open at 10:30am with lunch at 11.30. Price is $20; great pay outs and special games. Get tickets from Flo Guimond, 603 759-3396, or at our weekly Bingo on Tuesdays at 6pm. See you all there and remember, come to KK on Thursday mornings at 8:30 am to catch up with neighbors and find out what's up in Unit 3. See you soon, Barbara

UNIT 3 CLUBS

For the benefit of new residents, let me explain the “Clubs” in Unit 3. By default, as a resident of Unit 3, you are a member of the Social Club. The Social Club meets the second Thursday of each month dur-ing Kaffee Klatch at 8:30am. The SC sponsors some activities for all Unit 3 residents. The SC over-sees the Women’s Club and the Men’s Club. Female and male residents of Unit 3 are welcome to join the respective Club. There are annual dues for membership, currently $10. The Clubs meet monthly; men on the second Thursday at 6pm and women at 12 noon on the third Friday. Each Club plans their activities and events. Residents are welcome to come to the respective meetings as a guest to get a sense of what the group is about before deciding to join. A good place to start your journey in Unit 3 is to attend Kaffee Klatch every Thursday morning at 8:30am. During high season about 85 or so resi-dents come to KK to visit with their neighbors and find out what’s going on. There’s plenty going on! We look forward to meeting you and welcome your participation. Peter Cunningham, Courier editor.

Food Pantry

There is a box in the clubhouse to collect your food donations. Please be generous with your canned goods and non-perishable foods. This is the time of year when no one should go hungry. Also check the expira-tion date – they will not be accepted beyond the expiration date. The items are picked up faithfully on the first Thursday of the month and delivered to the Lealman Food Pantry by Debbie & Dale Krumreich.

Not All Realtors Provide the Same Services (Paid Ad)

Sales in the 7 units in the Mainlands have been very active. There were 138 units sold last year.

That is an average of 11.5 units/month, or 69 in 6 months. The average inventory Nationally is usual-

ly a 6 months supply, but in our Mainlands the inventory is under 2 months. In October we closed 18

units, not 12. And in November we had 17 listings go pending, not 12.

As of 12/19/17, there are 21 ACTIVE listings, or 1% of the total Mainlands homes, averaging

$186,000 each or $132 per square foot; 23 PENDING averaging $178,000 or $136 per square foot;

and 33 that have SOLD within the last 90 days averaging $162,000 or $112 per square foot. Prices

range from $102,000 to $289,900. The average time on the market is under 60 days. That is a very

active market, and as you can see prices are still going up rapidly!
