PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY    There are four different ways that a photo can be a

photographic portraiture. The different portraiture ways are constructionist, environmental, candid, and creative approach. The style of photography is technical and artistic as well as cultural. The Constructionist Approach is when a photographer may want to communicate and construct the portrait. For example a happy family, romantic couples and trustworthy executives in the advertisement. They market the idea to put a across in the picture.

The Environment Approach that will show the person in their environment be it at the work, leisure, social or family one. The environment Approach is more showing the person that is being filmed.

The Candid Approach is when people know they being photographed but are still going about their daily business. Candid photography is when the photographer stands by the door for different celebrities and takes photos of everyone.

The Creative Approach involved digital manipulation, where the picture is taken and edited in the darkroom or by different photo software’s such as Photoshop.

THE WORK CAME FROM?

Annie Leibovitz took this picture of Queen

Latifah as Ursula from the Little Mermaid. As a portrait she uses a special effects used in this image. This makes it incredibly visually interesting but also gives the photo a sense of magic which is appropriate for the fairytale theme. The image is very striking and creates a sense of wonder and awe in the viewer. This mimics the effect that the Disney film on which it is based would have on a small child.

DIFFERENCE PHOTOGRAPHY

The difference between Sport Photography and Portrait photography is that Sport Photographers travel across the world and take pictures when the sport event starts. They will not have time to prepare themselves to take the picture when the event starts and they will have to produce a great photo

In portrait photography the artist will have time to create the photo as they will have long hours and time to create the photo.

CONCLUSION In Conclusion I think that Portrait and Sport

photography uses different techniques to create a image on the audience, for example Bob Martin uses pain and suffering from the athletes while Annie uses themes to create an image from the celebrities for the album. The different techniques that they used are that Bob Martin used high definition however he used in small areas, to focus more to the athletes. Annie used high definition and hair and make up. Annie has more freedom to play with her work , while Bob Martin has less control over the athletes . Annie manly uses green screen on her work however in sports Bob Martin can’t be creative on his background.
