Seminar GoalUpon completion of this seminar, participants

should have a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities associated with

managing a regional search & rescue task force.

The course includes lecture, group discussions and activities, all of which are intended to

reinforce critical learning points. However, it is up to each of you to continue your ongoing

learning and professional development.

Objectives Review the roles and responsibilities of Task

Force management personnel. Practice skills associated with TF

management activities, specifically the use of required forms and other resources.

Describe the task force organizational structure and the function of each component.

Review the interface between incident management components such as an IST, IMT, or IC and the task force.
