Tube packaging lines

Any needs in terms of tube packaging lines can be satisfied by Romaco Group, through the coupling of Unipac tube filling machines to Promatic cartoning machines.

Lower speed tube filling machines are usually connected to Promatic P150/P100 intermittent motion horizontal cartoning machines, compact units suitable for medium speed applications, having an ergonomic “balcony design” which facilitates inspection and cleaning operations. Carton size changeovers can be quickly and easily accomplished, thanks to the incorporation of digital and electronic adjustments wherever possible.

Promatic’s new continuous motion AS300 cartoner, suitable for hi-speed applications, has been developed in line with higher market demands, utilizing the latest concepts in flexibility, efficiency and ergonomic design. The modular configuration of the machine allows customization to individual Customer requirements and also permits the addition of a wide range of optional components. Format changes are quickly and easily achieved, with the help of position guides.

To complete the packaging lines, Promatic can also supply a new balcony-design case packer (PAK 300), allowing flexible automatic loading of empty cases directly into the magazine at floor level, thus avoiding any manual lifting.

In order to issue an offer really meeting your needs, it’s most important to get the following inputs:

tubes material (AL, PE, ABL, PBL) type of tube (cylindrical, oval, conical ones)

type of folding (for AL tubes only: simple, double, saddle) type of coding (either single or double coding)

whether tube cleaning is neededwhether bar-code (Laetus) is needed

type and viscosity of product to be filled(pharmaceutical ointments, cosmetic cremes or gels, and so on)

filling temperature whether a product scraper stirrer (inside the hopper) is needed

whether a product level regulator (inside the hopper) is neededpreferred sealing technology

(for PE/LAM tubes only: either “hot jaws” or “hot air”)

number, dimensions, volume of tube sizes to be handled

required production speed (tube size by tube size) presence of downstream machine (cartoning machine)

experiences already made with tube filling machines(type of tube fillers they already owned, models, real speed)
