SpeakSpace™ Collection SpeakSpace™️ is a collection of freestanding privacy pods and meeting rooms for today’s collaborative office. This product dampens outside noise and sound originating from within the meeting space. Its design targets mid to high range sound frequencies. Available with standard features like lights, vents, USB ports and pre-wired for 110v electrical needs, this product represents a beautiful and simple solution to todays varied office interiors. Noise can be both audible and visual, SpeakSpace™️ solves both. Our product doesn’t feel closed in. Our products quietly fit into the environment by using materials that speak a common language with the finishes in the space. SpeakSpace™️ Meet addresses the importance of honoring the specifier’s space planning intent. Designed as a solution to the growing need for free standing independent meeting areas, SpeakSpace™️ Meet, quietly fits into the environment by using materials that speak a common language with the finishes in the space. Available in multiple sizes beginning with 8’X8’, SpeakSpace™️ Meet dampens outside noise and sound originating from within the room. Its design targets mid to high range sound frequencies. Noise can be both audible and visual, SpeakSpace™️ Meet solves both. ecoustic® Sculpt Collection The ecoustic™️ Sculpt Collection of ceiling tiles have been designed to provide a wide variety of drop-in ceiling tiles available in 9 profiles from Instyle’s ecoustic™️ SC (solid color) PET panels. The ecoustic™️ SC PET panels achieve a 0.80 NRC rating with a 200 mm air gap and achieve a class A flame spread rating. The ecoustic™️ Sculpt Collection provides a simple and quick installation ceiling tile product for use with suspended ceiling grids of both 9/16th and 15/16th grid sizes, in 4 ft. x 2 ft., and 2 ft. x 2 ft. format.

ecoustic® Torque Collection ecoustic™️ Torque is a functional, low-level reverberant acoustic tile available as a wall tile (24” x 24”) and ceiling tile, ideal for new and existing 24” x 24” and 48” x 24” suspended ceiling grid systems. The chevron design is inspired by architectural fretwork of the art-deco period. Subtle and directional patterns can be created by altering the color and orientation of the tiles to create formations that articulate light and shadow. Ecoustic Torque Ceiling Tile is a functional, low-level reverberant acoustic tile available as a wall tile (600 x 600mm) and ceiling tile, ideal for new and existing 600 x 600mm and 1200 x 600mm suspended ceiling grid systems. The chevron design is inspired by architectural fretwork of the art-deco period. Subtle and directional patterns can be created by altering the color and orientation of the tiles to create formations that articulate light and shadow. Bryndis Collection A love of texture and sculptural forms led Icelandic artist and designer Bryndis Bolladóttir to develop Kula and Lina, a range of colorful spherical, hemispherical, and cylindrical products made of Icelandic felted wool. The collection is produced from Icelandic Wool, layered over mineral wool and flexible polyurethane foam. The design and production of this product results in maximum sound absorption with minimal coverage requirements. Unika Vaev Baffle Collection SkyBridge Baffle - The SkyBridge™️ baffle system combines elegant modern lines with superior acoustical performance. Multiple configurations provide the designer many ways to accommodate challenging spaces. The system is well priced. Simple installation further enhances its cost effectiveness. Cosmos Baffle - Originally designed as a “concept” installation to explore the more organic elements of design, and make a dramatic visual statement, the Cosmos Baffle design lives within the space, allowing light and air to pass through while creating increased acoustic performance. Available as a kit of 9 fins, or can be custom cut to fit your needs, Cosmos is easy to install using the Unika Vaev Grid system and available in either 22 colorways of ecoustic felt or 6 colorways of solid color core material. Boomeraang Baffle - Boomerang explores the use of creative design techniques to create beautiful curves using Unika Vaev’s Solid Color Core acoustic panels. Designed to be flexed to meet the needs of individual space design, Boomerang provides a creative way to solve acoustic issues within a wide range of spaces. Unika Vaev announces the launch of a beautiful collection of three leather products by Instyle. Recognized as

a leader in leather, Instyle sources from the finest European tanneries resulting in the highest level of

craftsmanship and quality. Ranging in quality from aniline drum dyed to supple nubuck leather with a velvet

finish, this range represents Unika Vaev’s commitment to providing contract surface materials of the finest

quality.

Instyle is dedicated to providing the market with the most beautiful, high quality, genuine natural leathers for

upholstery and wall paneling. An artisanal material used since prehistoric times, leather has a refined timeless

luxury that no other material can replicate. Quality leather is an exquisite durable material that will offer

countless years of comfort with a long-lasting sophisticated aesthetic.

Instyle’s premium natural leathers are sourced from Scandinavia and surrounding countries, as they produce

the highest quality raw hides due to their low impact farming methods and innovative tanneries. These

tanneries are carefully chosen for the quality of their products, their service and their commitment to the

As a specialist in leather, Instyle aims to educate the market of the different types of leather available, their

properties and unique natural qualities. There is never a ‘one size fits all’ approach and the company focuses

on training its staff to provide guidance on the most appropriate leather to use.

In an industry first, Instyle has tested its entire collection to ASTM E 96 M-05 to determine the leather’s

seating comfort based upon the leather’s ability to breathe and absorb moisture. Each leather quality achieves a

seating comfort rating from level 1 to level 5, level 5 being the highest.

Verona - A refined leather with a sophisticated luster that is enhanced with age, Verona is a pure aniline

leather available in 22 rich and vibrant color-ways. The unique manufacturing process of Verona results in a

leather with a unique sheen and gloss finish. Verona achieves a Level 5 Excellent seating comfort

Tundra - A luxurious richly-colored pure aniline leather Tundra is a soft, elegant and unique leather. The

tannery selects only the very best hides for this product because the production processes are minimal. This is

the ultimate pure aniline leather. Available in 10 rich, earthy colors, the leather is dyed twice or even three

times to intensify the color and is infused with Scotchguard® to help protect against stains. Tundra achieves a

Level 5 Excellent seating comfort.

Buck - An exquisite nubuck leather with a soft velvet touch Buck is a nubuck leather produced from the finest

European raw hides. The combination of natural grain with a light buffing imparts a special, unique and

luxurious character. Buck is available in 9 timeless neutral colors and achieves Level 5 Excellent seating

comfort.

Unika Vaev’s Fabric Product Introductions at NeoCon World’s Trade Fair 2018

CHICAGO, IL June, 2018 – Unika Vaev introduces the Back in Touch collection of four new upholstery

products; Cube, Link, Mezzo and Origin at the NeoCon World’s Trade Fair 2018 Back in Touch is a new collection from the Instyle Design Studio exploring the role textiles can play in

providing a moment of presence to counteract the effects of our increasingly digitized and virtual lives.

Through the tactility of these fabrics the viewer (or ‘toucher’) is transported back into the physical world, and

the present moment.

“We are becoming further removed from sensual input and the emotional response it evokes, and the sense of

touch is becoming particularly marginalized. It’s no exaggeration to say we are losing touch with touch, and

we are the poorer for it. Tactility is not only an innate source of pleasure, it is also vital for our mental and

physical health” Viewpoint Magazine #41.

The colors across all four ranges have been mindfully developed to complement the intrinsic nature of each

weave and offer a strength or softness to complement each of the four constructions.

Cube

Woven from a combination of ultra-fine and heavy yarns in a Jacquard construction, Cube is a play on

differential yarn tensions when the fabric is released from the loom. The result is a fabric with a three-

dimensional surface effect and a sharp graphic detail.

A hand drawn artwork of interlocking blocks was the starting point for the design, with a conscious decision to

move forward from more traditional and deliberate geometric formations to one with structural ambiguity in

the way the shapes repeat and change.

The design echoes technology pathways of circuits and networks softened by the contrast and tactility of the

cushioned weave and moves beyond the popularity of sculptured knits to provide a woven upholstery and

wallcovering suitable for a wide range of commercial, retail and domestic applications.

Link

Link is a modern graphic pattern with a double-cloth construction giving a bold positive/negative effect.

Inspired by the concept of connectivity, transparency, and movement, Link gives tribute to Modernism.

One shape moves into another with graceful precision, creating an interlocking pattern with an effortless

quality. The pattern is clean, simple and beautifully uncomplicated with one shape overlapping a mirror image

of itself and repeated. As a result, a new pattern is revealed embracing the rule of transparency.

The color palette has been designed to provide both strong positive and negative colorways together with more

tonal, subtle options.

Mezzo

Mezzo is a beautiful retro styled wool rich textile, piece dyed to give a contemporary trend led palette ranging

from soft coral neutrals to midnight blues and grays.

The solid background colors are playfully offset with a feature yarn containing an intermittent twisted

highlight that comes and goes both vertically and horizontally. The static nature of the crosshatch effect is

softened by this irregularity and the undulating hand crafted nature of the weave.

The phasing in and out mirrors our relationship with technology and reality. Being present one minute and

focusing on something else the next.

Origin

Origin is a rich texture woven with a woolen boucle yarn providing a fabric with luxurious tactility. The

variegated structure and nature of this beautiful yarn gives warmth and life to the fabric.

The tactility combined with the high quality of the fibers, allow you to be immersed in the physicality of the

present moment while exploring the surface.

The contrasting yarn colors in each colorway have been carefully selected to maximize the three-dimensional

quality of the texture. The tones are earthy and gentle responding to the quality of the fabric rather than

overpowering it.

Feel + Calibre new colors

A fresh color update has been introduced to both of these classic textiles, inspired by a desire to reconnect with

nature and find meaning and delight in the natural world.

Reoccurring interest in foraging, herbalism, handcrafted ceramics and nature-based pursuits have informed the

new palettes of rich earthy tones, deep shades of oxblood, pine and inky blue. Jewel like tones of lapis blue and

topaz yellow are accompanied by soft lilac, peach and pale sage to add a dreamy lightness.
