Business oriented projects• Since 2001 CONVIVIUM, in joint with a Group of
leading Italian Companies in different sectors, is investing in several countries in Africa, developing many projects in various sectors:
• Infrastructure and costruction• Energy• Environment• Information Technology• Telecommunications and Transport• Tourism• Import/Export• Agriculture and fishing
In March 2004, Convivium signed an MOU in Kenya with the Eastern Africa Secretariat of NEPAD (New Partnership for Africa’s Development), to develop projects in partnership with the local governments and private sector.

Humanitarian projects• Convivium is also supporting solidarity
projects in Africa, particularly, since 2006 is promoting a project to help young students in Kibera Primary School in Nairobi – Kenya. The school has 2.500 students coming from the slum of Kibera, the biggest and one of the poorest of all african countries, with more than 1.000.000 people living there (see our web site www.kiberasfriends.it). Now also in Senegal and Ghana.

The project
• To build a football school in Ghana for childrenfrom the age of 6/7 until the age of 18
• To build a football structure made of 3/4 football fields and 2 changing rooms or use an alreadyexisting structure
• At the beginning export from Italy football trainers in order to teach locals how to train and create a competitive football team
• To start from a specific area of Ghana and thenexpand it in different areas of Ghana

Steps to undertake (1):
• Approval and support from the Ghana Football Federation
• To write a Business proposal with the supportand suggestions of Ghana Football Federation
• To find a football team that is eager to supportsuch project e.g. Fiorentina, Udinese, AS Roma, Etc (We already contacts with some italian football clubs)

• To find a football player who is willing tocooperate and promote this project (wealready have a contact and the willingness toparticipate of Stephen Appiah)
• To start with Ghana and expand this project in different areas of Ghana and then of Africa (e.g. Tanzania, Kenya, Senegal, Gambia, Nigeria, Etc.)
