Currently, there are over 31,000 registered Ureporters in Uganda, from every District in the country!
Ureport How does it work?
Weekly SMS polls (including maternal and child health, domes-c violence and access to safe water). – Avg response rate: 25%
Best responses and results are sent back by SMS to the Ureporter community.

Not just about data… but rather to increase Ureporters knowledge of their rights, provoke awareness of the situa-on in their community, and promote dialogue and ac-ons to find solu-ons to local problems.
Ureport How does it work?
UNICEF is using this informa-on as part of na-onal level advocacy work, sending alerts to government and civil society stakeholders responsible for follow-‐up, and making it available to the general public.
