Target Audience of UNIBOOK & related activities

International (more than 5000 in 2011)

explain them both recent past and present of

the city for what concerns its relationship with students (given their massive presence in urban area )

make them the focal point of a section of the Museum exhibiting their own pictures and empowering them

UNIBOOK Educational Activities EDUTAINMENT

Guided Tours different sub-groups will be identified• connection with the Museum as a whole ( two different possibilities)• focusing on students’ life and University 40/ 45 minutes (4 rooms of Museum + Exhibition)• offered on Sunday and during 4 weekdays afternoon at fixed times• “Goliardia Tour” unique and always different experience

Workshops • paint and transform pictures / collage activities / interactive storytelling specific audience will be targeted• possibility to couple them with guided tours on Sunday afternoon• once a week specifically for schools (Tuesday) + open to everybody on Sunday afternoon

Conferences having as guest speaker a Professor from the University of Bologna• different audience as target• during the opening of the Exhibition the first one• covering hot / relevant issues concerning students’ life

Context and BenchmarkingCompetitor: Museum of European Students

• The Museum of European Students from the first look can be defined as the main competitor of the future exhibition. Thought from the very beginning one of the main motives for making “UNIBOOK” was to engage the new event in Bologna, not repeat already existing institution. According to this we should assume that not only the content is different, but also the approach of gathering the collections which refers to the values and concept of the “Unibook” as the co-created exhibition.

• In the following table you can see the brief review of the strategies of two institutions MeUS and Unibook.

The other event we should take into consideration is Maratona Fotografica DisturBo – the photography contest. As it was stated before, the previous success of this event, it’s popularity and closeness to our concept gave us the idea of collaboration. Time of the exhibition was also chosen in order to avoid overlapping with this event.
