Context and BenchmarkingCompetitor: Museum of European Students
• The Museum of European Students from the first look can be defined as the main competitor of the future exhibition. Thought from the very beginning one of the main motives for making “UNIBOOK” was to engage the new event in Bologna, not repeat already existing institution. According to this we should assume that not only the content is different, but also the approach of gathering the collections which refers to the values and concept of the “Unibook” as the co-created exhibition.
• In the following table you can see the brief review of the strategies of two institutions MeUS and Unibook.
• MeUS - substitute
The other event we should take into consideration is Maratona Fotografica DisturBo – the photography contest. As it was stated before, the previous success of this event, it’s popularity and closeness to our concept gave us the idea of collaboration. Time of the exhibition was also chosen in order to avoid overlapping with this event.
DisturBo: Maratona Fotografica
