REGARDING ACADEMIC AND E,DUCATIONAL COLLABORATION

BETWEENUNIVERSITY OF GJAKOVA "FEHMI AGANI"

ANDMETROPOLL{ UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES

Metropolia Universit"y of Applied Sciences and University Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" - UGJFA(coliectively referred to as "Parties"), hereby agree to promote academic and educational cooperationand exchange between the two institutions, with the joint purposes of contributing to the advancementof activities in areas of academic and edr:cational interest.

Contents of the AgreementThe Parties agree to:1. build understanding and appreciation of other countries and cultures2. promote student and staff motrility to develop their professional and intercultural krorvledge and

skills3. promote exchange of documentation, teaching and leaming materials, research materials and other

ilformation4. improve research cooperation and curiculum development. special programmes and projects

ImplementationThe activities listed above are to be calried out after mutual consultations between the Parties and each

of the divisions concerned.

Terms of the AgreementThe terms of cooperation for each activity irnplernented under this Mernorandum of Understanding,including the flnancial resources. shall be mutually discussed and agreed upon in writing by bothParties prior to the initiation of that activity. Any such agreement on terrns of cooperation for a specificactivity shail form appendices to this Memorandum of Understanding.

Revision of the AgreementThis Memorandum of Understanding remains effective for three years and will automatically be

prolonged for another three years unless termination is required by one of the Parties in the form of a

written nolice six months prior to expiry.
