What does changing the name of MEMFIS to UNI e-business Suite
involve?
• MEMFIS web site and all the documentation –this is complete – see at http://www.vpaf.uni.edu/ebusiness/index.shtml
• Portal in My UNIverse will be changed – coming soon
• MEMFIS Forms will be found in e-Business forms – will change on 9/28/11
• Memfis-help @ uni.edu will be [email protected] – coming soon
How will the R12 upgrade affect you?
• Some down-time in the migration
• A bit of a different look in the application
• A few functional changes

Friday, November 4, 5 p.m. through sometime Tuesday, November 8
expected outage will be announced in October
Timeline – Final Migration
NO ACCESS TO: (during time listed above)•UNI e-Business Suite•No timecards•No Budget Adjustments•Nothing in e-Business Suite•Reports – webfocus and Discoverer will be down for at least a week.
Month End Closing for October 2011
• Due to no access to the system during the final migration, October will close on November 3rd instead of November 4th
• Webfocus reports will be available Nov. 4 for departments to use; reports will not be available until Nov. 14 following the upgrade
Other Known Changes• Everyone completing Procard, JE and
Depositing Cash Receipts spreadsheets will have to download NEW spreadsheets and they will not be available until after the migration is completed (11/8/11)
• New spreadsheets will be found in Forms Repository
• Watch UNIonline for announcements
Other Known Changes• Fringe Benefits Statements will
look different
• Printing Requisitions is slightly different
• Timecard Notification is slightly different
• Supplier Inquiry is totally different
