Dance Practise

For our flashback scene we had to practise and practise the dance routine before we actually recorded the finished scene. And we have taken pictures to show us practising the dance routine. We broke it down from shot to shot of how we would re-enact what the flashback scene would actually entail.

Breakdown of Flashback scene:

From this 1st image we have how we wanted the two characters to meet and how their hands would touch at 1st sight.

The 2nd shot shows how the two characters would begin to dance and how the guy would hold her by her hands in a typical dance.

The 3rd shot shows how the guy would twirl the girl before she runs off camera.

The 4th shot shows how the girl will drop her scarf after running from the guy and how the guy would bring her back to him by pulling on the scarf to get the effect that he loves her and that’s why he is holding her scarf.

In the 6th shot shows the guy picking up the girls scarf after she has run off dropping the scarf in the process.

The 5th shot shows us the girl having seen the guy, runs away to give it the traditional Bollywood flashback scene, which is what we were trying to convey through the dance scene.
