Our giving through our regular church operating budget supports these missionaries. Now, our church is sending relief workers through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and we are also working with global partners to bring basic food and supplies to the survivors. If you would like to help, please make your check payable to SFUMC and designate it for Nepal Earthquake. Since the administrative costs of our mission work is covered in our giving to World Service, not a dime that you give to this crisis will be tied up in administrative costs. The Rose on the Altar on May 10 is given to the glory of God and in honor of Talmadge Rowland Johnson, Jr. who was born in Savannah on April 30, 2015. Talmadge weighed 9 lbs., 6 oz., was 21.5 inches long, and is the son of Tal and Katie Johnson.

The flowers in the Sanctuary on May 10 are given to the glory of God and in recognition of Peace Officers Memorial Day.

The Family of Sara Reid Hodges is so very grateful for all the many acts of kindness showered upon us in our recent loss of Sara Reid. Wednesday Night ActivitiesThe Youth Room opens up at 5:30PM for dinner and fellowship. At 6:15PM students are gathered for announcements and then break into small groups

by grade and gender. Students bring $2 for pizza dinner.

Sunday Night SurgeMiddle School students meet at 5:00PM and High School students meet at 7:00PM every Sunday night for a time of music, games, and fellowship. Students experience a special evening with worship led by the youth band

and a message from one of the youth ministry staff. Bring $2 for dinner.
