REFRIGERATED DEGREASER Ultra-Kool Inc., Gilbertsville, Pa. Ultra-Kool Inc. produces a totally enclosed, refrig- erated degreaser that allows the user to meet Federal and State EPA and OSHA regulations for degreasing solvents. This unit is usually less ex- pensive than similarly equipped machines. Among the many standard features, such as safety controls, casters, integral drip pan, manual spray and filtration, Ultra-Kool also offers op- tional ultrasonics, superheat, manifolded spray and drains, and rotating baskets. Ultra-Kool also provides solvent vapor control through a unique, patented single compressor system that is more efficient and uses less power than other machines using two compressors. Zenith Ultrasonics, one of the oldest manufactur- ers of ultrasonic cleaning equipment, continues to lead the industry with its patented simultaneous multiple-frequency cleaning technology. The tech- nology, trademarked as Crossfire Multiple Fre- quency Ultrasonics, uses transducers and gener- ators of differing frequencies. The cleaning action produced by the Crossfire system cannot be com- pared with any single-frequency system. Crossfire cleans faster and safely removes contamination from the smallest detail part areas with its higher frequencies, while simultaneously having the power to remove heavy and more highly bonded contamination with lower frequencies. Metfab's Reel-To-Reel Ultrasonic Systems are rec- ommended for continuous applications including the cleaning and high-quality rinsing of stamped electrical connectors, lead frames, strip, wire, and chain. Systems utilize radial transducers and can be provided as part of new installations or as retrofits to existing lines. Five standard models are available that are capable of handling multi- ple strands of fine wire at speeds up to 300 fpm or strip stock up to 10 in. Custom configurations are also available.
