FDA approved for food contact Product Description Ulterion ® 2100 WT is a water-based resin developed to make paper non-wicking and water resistant. The product also improves paper strength parameters. Ulterion ® 2100 WT is formulated for application at the wet end of the paper machine. The paper made with this product is completely repulpable. Typical Properties % Solids 25% pH 7-7.5 Odor Mild Organic Appearance Milky Color Specific gravity 1.06 Viscosity (cps) 20-50 Origin USA FDA Status Ulterion ® 2100 WT is composed of ingredients that are in compliance with FDA for direct and indirect food contact. Application Methods Typical wet end applications use 30 – 50 wet pounds per ton. Coating with an Ulterion coating system after treatment with Ulterion ® 2100 WT, will produce paper with good water Corrugated liner & medium Water resistance coated bags Makes wet strength papers stronger Provides water resistance in butcher wrap Seedling & potted plant liners Coating base liner for wax alternative boxes Handling / Storage Stability Keep from freezing. Store in a cool, dry area, i.e., 70 – 80 degrees F. Keep away from high heat. Heat will shorten the 3-month shelf life.
