Some frequently asked questions about the On the Way - ¡Ándale! Capital Campaign: How are the parish targets set and how much is my parish going to receive? The campaign target for each parish is established at 1.3 times its average offertory for the last three fiscal years. Parishes with a three-year average offertory of $500,000 or less will receive 40%; offertory between $500,000 and $1.3 million will receive 35%; and those with an offertory over $1.3 million will receive 30%. If the parish does not reach their monetary target, is it responsible for the difference? Parishes will not be assessed penalties if they do not reach their fundraising target. The expectation is that parishes put forth a good faith effort to follow the recommendations of the archdiocese and the Steier Group in conducting the campaign. Will funds for the On the Way - ¡Ándale! Capital Campaign reduce offertory support for the parish? It is important to emphasize that all gifts to this campaign should not reduce other giving commitments to the Church. A gift to the campaign is and extraordinarily generous gift made freely and faithfully to meet the extraordinary challenges and opportunities presented through the campaign. Español

Marian Pilgrimage

Fr. Pat will be leading a Marian Pilgrimage next

summer, June 24-July 5 to Portugal, Spain and

France. The pilgrimage includes the holy sites

of Fatima, Santiago de Compostela, Garaban-

dal, Lourdes and La Sagrada Familia Catedral in Barcelona.

Cost is $3,890.00 per person, double occupancy. For more

Adult Confirmation Classes

Confirmation is the Gift of the Holy Spirit activat-

ing the graces we receive in Baptism. Together with the

Eucharist, it completes our initiation into the Church.

If you are a baptized Catholic adult, 18 years of

age or older, attended religious education classes as a

child/youth and have not celebrated the Sacrament of

Confirmation (and/or Eucharist), our parish is offering a

six-week course to prepare adults to be

confirmed. These sessions begin Thursday, February

28th, 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the office conference room. The

classes will be offered in English.

To register, please stop by the Parish Office to

pick up a form to complete. In addition, please obtain a

copy of your baptismal certificate from the parish of your

baptism. You will need to bring it with you the first night

we gather.

Pastoral Council Meeting

Our next Pastoral Council Meeting will

be on Thursday, February 14 at 6:30pm

in the Office Conference Room. Leaders

of all ministries and organizations are

asked to attend.

Lenten Small Faith Sharing Groups Lent invites us to a time of prayer, reflec-

tion, and conversion. This Lenten Season

parishioners are encouraged to join our

small faith sharing groups. We will be us-

ing the program called, LENTEN LONG-

INGS, to help deepen our faith in Jesus

Christ. To join a group, form your own group or share in a

group with your family members, please call the parish

office and leave your name and contact information. We

will be ordering the material and need a count of par-

ticipants by February 15th. The week before Lent we

will distribute the materials to the various groups.

Compartiendo La Fe en Grupos Pequeñas

La Cuaresma nos invita a un tiempo de oración, reflexión

y conversión. Se anima a los feligreses de esta tempora-

da de Cuaresma a unirse a nuestros pequeños grupos de

intercambio de fe. Estaremos usando el programa

llamado, LENTEN LONGINGS, para ayudar a profundizar

nuestra fe en Jesucristo. Para unirse a un grupo, forme

su propio grupo o comparta en grupo con los miembros

de su familia, llame a la oficina de la parroquia y deje su

nombre e información de contacto. Solicitaremos el ma-

terial y necesitaremos un conteo de participantes an-

tes del 15 de febrero. La semana antes de la Cuaresma

FREE TACOS & PAN DULCE

The Parish Stewardship Committee invites all parishion-ers to attend the stewardship information sessions next weekend, February 16 and 17 following all the weekend masses. The Stewardship Committee will explain the im-portance of sharing our TIME, TALENT and TREASURE with our parish community. They will also explain the role of the baptized to be priest, prophet and king. Those in attendance will receive a free taco (after the 8am and 10am masses) and pan dulce (after the Saturday 6pm and Sunday 12 noon masses). Please make the time to come, listen and learn.
