Dear Parents and Students,

Prefect Assembly
On Thursday, 2nd November we undergo our special
Prefect Assembly from 12pm. Our top 10 girls and boys
candidates from Year 5 will present their speeches to
Grades 2-6. This speech along with their CV will be
considered by all Primary students prior to voting for our
2018 Prefects. Year 3 students who cannot attend
because of swim school will get to view a recording of
the speeches.
Students from Ulladulla High School
Please note; Ulladulla High School students are not
allowed on Ulladulla Public School grounds between the
times of 3.00-3.30pm unless supervised by a parent. The
High School provides supervised programs during this
time. There are some unique circumstances that will
provide some high school students with an exception
but this has to be approved by our senior school
executive.
School Parking and Crossing
Our school is located in a built up area with lots of traffic
at drop off and pick up times. Please adhere to the
parking rules and use the crossing appropriately. Parents
who model how to use the crossing correctly have an
increased chance of their children following suit.
2018 Classes
Ulladulla Public School is in the initial stages of creating
classes for 2018. Teachers always consider student
requests and we attempt to keep every student with a
friend (where appropriate). This is a complex task and
teachers spend numerous hours creating these class
lists. Teacher requests are no longer available.
School Assemblies
Thank you to the 57 people who voted in our assembly
survey. 39 out of 57 parents (68.42%) voted in favour of
having a separate Infants and Primary Assembly. Your
feedback will be taken into consideration for 2018
assembly planning.
Have a great week!

Last Monday, 23rd October the Girls Touch Football team
travelled to Taren Point, Sydney to play in the 2017 State Finals
as the South Coast Champions.
The girls were committed, dedicated and encouraged each

Touch Football South Coast Champion.
You are invited to the 2017 UPS Scholastic
Book Fair in the library!
The Book Fair starts on Wednesday 15th
November and runs over three days finishing
on Friday 17th November. Books will be
available for purchase in the library over this
time between 8:45am to 9:25am and again
from 3:30pm to 4pm.
The Scholastic Book Fair is a great place for
children to discover a love of books and ignite
a lifelong passion for reading. The Book Fair is
also a great place to buy a book for a loved
one for Christmas, a birthday or a special
occasion.
In the days leading up to the Book Fair the students will be invited to have a look at this
