Welcome to UKTV Live, a special event for our closest friends and allies to preview the future highlights of Britain’s fastest growing commercial broadcaster.
It’s true to say that the British
public are switching on to
UKTV in a way that has never
been known before: according
to BARB data, viewing of
our network has increased
by another 16% this year
(off the back of a record
viewing figures in 2013)
while the British TV market
has contracted by about 2%1.
And as for on demand viewing,
the use of platforms including
our new interactive digital
service, UKTV Play, have
increased by over 600%2.
So, here we are. Centre of the
re-evaluation of the British
television industry. A company
rising in the heart of popular
culture with millions of new
viewers3 coming to enjoy our
ground-breaking channels on
Sky, Virgin Media, YouView,
Freeview, BT TV, TalkTalk
and UKTV Play.

the ultimate Monty Python
documentary (w/t), to be

The one-off, 90-minute film has unprecedented access to the five surviving members of Monty Python (John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin). The intimate and provocative documentary includes never before seen footage from their early live shows, including Live at the Hollywood Bowl in 1980, and follows the cast and crew of the Monty Python 2014 reunion show, Monty Python Live (mostly) – One Down Five to Go at The O2, London – from the press conference, in which the group announced their first new project for three decades, to their very final night and last performance – which was broadcast to millions in more than 100 countries around the world, including live on Gold.
