Performance Programme Beginners: For dogs that are not eligible for Novice, Senior and Champion levels in the Performance Programme. Novice: For dogs that have gained a minimum of 24 points in the Beginners classes, where 12 of those points must be

obtained in agility classes. Senior: For dogs that have gained a minimum of 36 points in the Novice classes, where 12 of those points must be

obtained in agility classes,6 from games classes and 6 from jumping classes. Champion: For dogs that have gained a minimum of 48 points in the Senior classes, where 12 of those points must be

obtained from agility classes, 12 points from jumping classes and 12 points from games classes.

Steeplechase Programme SC Beginners: For dogs that are not eligible for SC Novice, SC Senior and SC Champion levels in the Steeplechase

Programme. SC Novice: For dogs that have gained a total of 24 points in the SC Beginners classes. SC Senior: For dogs that have gained a total of 36 points in the SC Novice classes. SC Champion: For dogs that have gained a total of 48 points in the SC Senior classes.

Special Classes Nursery: Open to any dog 16 months of age and older that is not entered in any class in the performance programme for

that day. Casual: Open to any dog that is not entered in any other class but casual for that day.

Measuring of dogs will take place near the secretary’s tent EVERY MORNING. Time will be

announced.

To all competitors - We NEED ALL OF YOU to help at our show. Workers will be entered into a

helpers draw. Workers will also be allowed to use the

Practice Ring FREE of charge.

If we are able to turn a ring into a training ring during the week and the days off we will do so. This

will only be available to people who have helped on that day. If a practice ring is unavailable on the

day you help you will be able to use it the next time we have one.

The entertainment line up will be posted at the secretary’s tent but will include all the usual

The Annual TUNNELERS CLASS will be run on late MONDAY afternoon.

General Rules • Open to all levels and all heights running in one competition. Only handler and dog combinations that gain three or more qualifying wins may run in the semi final, • The semi final and final will consist of a Gamblers course and a Snooker course. Scoring • Standard UK Agility Marking will apply. • The judge will use the Senior and Champion level games rules. • The judge can include additional rules providing clearly stated in briefing. • Both points and times will be combined from the 2 classes • The dog with the most points in the fastest time will be deemed the winner • In the event of a tie the competitor with the most Gamblers points in the fastest time will be deemed the winner. • Any extraordinary circumstances to be ruled by UK Agility. Final Qualification • Qualification for the 2018 Semi Final will be by winning 3 games classes with a qualifying score at any UKA show between 3rd July 2017 – 2nd July 2018. The Semi Final to be held at the UKA Week show 2017 on Friday 3rd August 2018 • The top 20 from the Semi Final will qualify to compete at the Games Challenge Final to be held at UK Agility Grand Finals

Each height division will have its own separate competition and there will be a separate Final combining;

• Beginners & Novice

The winner of each Beginners and Novice Agility class from Saturday 28th July to Thursday 2nd August will qualify for

the Saturday finals.

The Novice Stakes final will run a course set at Beginners level with Novice course times. Least faults wins and time used only as a tie-breaker.

UKA Summer Pro Stakes

both finals with their first qualification counting.

UKA Summer Junior Stakes

There will be a separate competition combining

• Toy & Midi (final to run at Toy height)

• Standard & Maxi (final to run at Standard height) The winner of each Junior Agility class by height, from Saturday 28th July to Thursday 2nd August will qualify for the Saturday night finals (The Junior Open Agility class will not count) The Final will run over a course set at Senior level with Senior course times. Least faults wins and time used only as a tie-breaker. Each final will comprise of 10 dogs. If a dog has already qualified for the final (from a previous day) or cannot attend final, the space will be offered to the place below continuing through the places until the spot is filled. Eliminations will not qualify for the final. Dogs may run in the Junior Final as well as one of the Novice or Pro Stakes final.

Antics Triple “A” Qualifier

General Rules • Open to all dogs from all performance levels and all heights. • There will be a separate

competition for each height. • The course will consist of only jumps, tunnels and an “A” frame that will be

negotiated 3 times within the course • Course design level should be of a Novice Agility course. • The course will

follow standard UKA Agility rules with Senior course time. Scoring • Standard UK Agility Marking will apply. • The

dog with the least faults will be deemed the winner with time used as a tie break. • In the event of a tie a runoff

will be required. • Any extraordinary circumstances to be ruled by UK Agility.

Final Qualification • 5 Heats. 1 at each of the Agility Antics Shows (3 at Bakewell - April, July and September, 1 at

Osberton and new for this year - 1 at the UKA Nationals week)• Top 2 from each height at each heat qualify for the

Final.

Final • The final will be held Saturday 29th September (pm) in the main ring at Osberton International Horse Trials.

Same rules will apply.

Leave the M5 at Jnc. 11. Follow the A40 to Cheltenham. At the roundabout take the 1st exit signposted Churchdown & Glos Airport. Follow this for 1.4 miles to traffic lights. Go straight over these and follow for 0.5 miles to more traffic lights. Go straight over and follow for 0.2 miles and turn right towards Down Hatherley. After 0.2 miles turn right into the venue. At the entrance there is a large sign saying Dowty Sports and Social Centre. In the showground please follow signs and directions from stewards.

NOTICE TO COMPETITORS (The boring stuff!!)

This show will run under the 2018 UK Agility Rules and Regulations

UK Agility Rules and Regulations apply to the whole event and all people and dogs must comply with these at all times. As a competitor it is your responsibility to be aware of the rules and regulations as they stand at the time of the show. This show will run under the 2018 UK Agility rules. All dogs and handlers must be registered with UK Agility in order to compete. UK Agility’s official rules & regulations are available free to download on registration of Handler/Owner to UK Agility. A rule book can be purchased on request direct to UK Agility, or at one of our shows. . If you or your dog is not already registered, fill out the UK Agility registration form included in this schedule and add the registration fee to your entry fee. Competitors through submission of entry acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of UK Agility rules and regulations including but not limited to the following rules regarding entry: All competitors should familiarise themselves with the rules prior to the event. Dogs under 18 calendar months of age on the day of the Show are not eligible to compete in UK Agility Licensed shows, with the exception of dogs over 16 calendar months of age eligible to compete in Nursery Classes & Steeplechase. Entries without fees paid in full will be returned. Separate entry forms must be completed by each Competitor and must be signed by the Competitor. Entry forms must be accompanied with the appropriate fees. If you use a recorded delivery service, you must specify No Signature Required. Entries will not be accepted, changed or altered after the closing date or capping level has been reached except for the purpose of moving to a higher level.

A dog shall be withdrawn from competition if it is:- A bitch which is in season, Suffering from any infectious or contagious diseases, Interfering with the safety of any person or other animal. Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues competing. There will be no refunds for entries withdrawn and neither in the event a dog and/or handler is dismissed from the competition, regardless of the reason for dismissal providing this was within accordance of UK Agility rules and regulations. It is the competitor’s responsibility to be available for their class and running order. It is expressly understood that Competitors alone are responsible for the behaviour of their dogs, children and guests. Any competitor whose dogs, children, or guests create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behaviour, may, at the discretion of the show management, be asked to remove the offending dogs, children, guests from the event grounds. No refunds of fees will be made in such a case. No competitor shall impugn the decision of the judge or judges. No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of the show. Should a judge be unable to fulfill the appointment to judge, the show management reserves the right to appoint another judge. Should circumstances so dictate the show manager, in consultation with the Judges, may alter arrangements as necessary. Such changes and the circumstances surrounding them must be reported to UK Agility. In the event of abandonment of the show through circumstances beyond our control, the SHOW MANAGEMENT may defray such expenses from the entry fee to cover the cost of the show preparation. These accounts will then be made public. All dogs are entered at this show at their owners risk and whilst every care will be taken the show management will not accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury however caused to dogs, persons or property whilst at the show. All competitors MUST clear up after their dogs at all times. Failure to do so will result in competitors being asked to leave the Show. Dogs left in hot cars, or dogs appearing to be in distress, will be dealt with as seen fit by the Show Management. Returned cheques do not constitute a valid entry. There will be a £20.00 service charge for returned cheques. Payment of entry fees and service charges shall be made before a competitor may compete. Any unpaid fees or shortfalls to a UK Agility account must be paid prior to the start of the event. If your UK Agility account owes money when we process the entries for this show your running orders will be withheld to encourage you to visit the secretary’s tent at the show so that the account balance can be resolved. If attending a show where E-gility is in

use, you will be unable to check in to compete at the show, until any outstanding debt is paid. If fees are still due seven days after an event, UK Agility will suspend a dog’s/handlers registration until fees are paid in full. A fee of £6.00 will be charged, for the account to be un-suspended.

Dogs should be measured while the dog is placed in a standing position on a flat surface such as a table. The measurement is taken from the perpendicular line from the top of the dog’s withers to the flat surface. All dogs, except the Maxi division, must have an official measurement before they run. If your official dog’s measurement moves you into a different height than the one entered, you must notify the show secretary and your dog will be moved automatically. If you are entering the casual class and wish to jump lower than your eligible height please tick the CRO box (Clear round only). Clear round rosettes will still be available for your run.

Camping is AVAILABLE BY RESERVATION ONLY! The cost for camping is £112.50 for the week (Friday 27th July - Saturday 4th August) or £12.50 a night. Please send

camping fees with your entry. All camping units MUST carry suitable fire extinguishers. Additional fire fighting equipment will be provided at intervals within the camping area.

Camping spaces will be marked out. Please ensure you leave the roadways clear.

If you wish to camp within a group please send a group name and a list of names (the UKA member who has booked the camping unit) to the UK Agility office

before closing date of 29th June 2018. Only 1 person per group to send list in.
