Choose the tiles you

want here, then drag and drop

them to the middle of the page

Drag the green bar to the left to remove the left hand menu

Enter a custom title and subtitle (font type and style are fixed)

Use this as a guideline to build your layout, or design artwork in-house

• Further dimensions are available for certain tiles. To calculate pixel sizes, use this table as a guideline, and remember the white space between each tile is 30 pixels

• These are recommended pixel sizes, to make sure your artwork is displayed at the best quality on all screen sizes and devices

• When uploading an image, make sure the size and orientation are suitable for the tile size you want (e.g. avoid a horizontal image for a 1x2 tile)

• Make sure you upload images at the highest resolution available

• The maximum file size for images you upload to the site is 5MB

Choose the layout that best suits your needs4-column and 3-column layouts

This is a 3-column layout. It includes a left-hand menu.

Choose it if there’s a set of links you want your employees to see

at all times, regardless of how your tiles change.

This is a 4-column layout. It doesn’t include a left-hand menu.

Choose it if you’d like your tiles to fill the homepage, for added visual

impact.

Tile types - Simple

Drag and drop to your homepage

Available sizes: all standard sizes

Supports tile segmentation

Can be linked to: pages on the site; external URLs; downloadable files; email addresses

How to use this tile:

• Font type, colour and size are fixed, as is the white background

• You can change the style of the text (e.g. bold, italics, underlined) and add hyperlinks to it

• You can change the text of the green button, or remove it altogether

Text-only tile

Available sizes: No vertical sizes. The Video + Text tile is also not available as 1x1

Supports tile segmentation - you can show different videos to different user groups


• Font, colour and size are fixed, as is the white background. You can change text style

• Pick your video from your computer, or copy and paste a link from a hosting site like Youtube or Vimeo

• When you upload a video, you can choose which frame to use as a preview

Tile types - Mixed Content






• Upload an image to your tile; you will then be able to zoom in or out, or move it within the space

• The image can be anything you want - a photo, an illustration, or even branded artwork!

• If you want text to appear on the image, you will need to add it offline, before you upload the file to your hub

• Make sure you use an image with size and orientation that are suitable for the tile size you want (e.g. avoid uploading a horizontal image to a 1x2 tile)

• Upload image files at the highest resolution available - maximum file size is 5MB

Image-only tile

Available sizes: not available as 1x1




• Upload an image to your tile; you will then be able to zoom in or out, or move it within the space

• The image can be anything you want - a photo, an illustration, or even branded artwork!

• Hover over the bottom of the image with your mouse to make the image larger and the text area smaller


Image + Text tile





• Upload a background to your tile (i.e. a block colour, photo, illustration or branded artwork)

• A text box will appear on the tile, so you can add text on top of your background

• You can move and resize the text box, and change text size, style and colour

• You can add a colour overlay on top of the image, to make the text easier to read. The overlay will be one of your brand colours

• Font type, colour and size are fixed, as is the white background. You can change text style


• You can also remove the copy text, and have a tile with a title, icon and green button

Adding icons to your tiles

Tile types - Retail


Available sizes: 1x1 (retailer tiles) and 2x1 (category tiles)


Can be linked to: chosen retailer or category page (it’s all automated)

How to use these tiles:

• Choose the retailer or category you want to promote and customise the tile title - it’s that simple!

• Font, images and background are both fixed

• If any of the offers you promote change (e.g. retailers becoming Deals of the Week), these tiles will update automatically

Tile segmentation not supported

Link to: featured retailer or category pages (it’s all automated)


• Simply drag and drop the tile you want to your homepage

• The Deal of the Week tile promotes one offer at a time (usually a link to our list of Deals of the Week)

• The Retailer Slideshow shows a selection of each week’s hottest offers

• Our Retail team updates these banners weekly across all our sites, so you don’t have to worry about changing them manually

Tile types - Social & News



Supports tile segmentation - you can show different blogs to different user groups


• Simply drag it to your homepage, and choose the blog you want to promote from the list of blogs on your site

• Updates are automated, so new posts will appear in real time; employees will be taken straight to them when they click through

• To show more than one blog on the same homepage, simply add more Blog tiles

• Text style and colour are fixed, as is the white background. The tile title feeds automatically from your chosen Blog’s title.

• This tile is only available if you have at least one live SmartHub Blog on your programme

Promoting your SmartHub Blogs




• You can display any Twitter feed, provided it’s public

• Simply input the Twitter ID of the account you want to use (e.g. @Rewardgateway)

• Updates are automated, so new tweets will appear in real time

• You can update the tile title; text style, tile structure and white background are fixed

• To show more than one Twitter feed on the same homepage, simply add more Twitter tiles

Adding a Twitter feed to your homepage




• Facebook: display the feed from any public page (personal accounts, or pages with age or location-related restrictions, won’t be supported). Simply input the page’s Facebook username (e.g. https://www.facebook.com/RewardGateway)

• Instagram: display the feed from any public page. Simply input the Instagram handle (e.g.https://www.instagram.com/rewardgateway) of the account you want to use

• Updates are automated, so new posts will appear in real time


• To show different Facebook or Instagram feeds on your homepage, simply add more tiles

• If you want to display the latest posts from a website of blog that has a RSS feed, you can add the feed to your homepage. Click here to learn more about RSS feeds.

• Simply input the link to the RSS feed of the site you want to promote. This is different from the site URL - click here to learn how to find it.

• Updates are automated, so new posts will appear in real time


• To show more than one RSS feed on the same homepage, simply add more RSS feed tiles

• Websites or blogs that don’t have a RSS feed cannot be promoted through this tile. You can still link to them through a different type of tile though!

Tile types - Special



Supports tile segmentation - you can show different lists of Quick Links to different user groups



• The Quick Links tile is ideal to display different links with a common topic (e.g. benefits, HR policies), all in one place

• You can add as many items as you like to your list; each can have its own icon in one of your brand colours

• You will need to link each item individually, to point them to different URLs, files or email addresses

• Text style and colour are fixed, as is the white background

• Simply add it to your homepage - it’s all automated!

• Each employee will see their total savings on their homepage, updated in real time

• When you add the tile, you can choose to display total savings across all types of offer, or just the amount saved in store or online.

• Image, colours and text style are all fixed

• The tile will show the birthdays of registered users, up to three weeks in advance

• This is based on the dates of birth you have uploaded to our system. Year of birth and age will not be displayed

• Birthdays are hidden by default when employees first register. To be visible on the tile, they can opt into sharing them from their Profile on the site

• The tile will show the 3 most recent recognition moments sent on your programme

• By clicking through, users can go straight to their chosen recognition moment on the Social Wall, to react and comment. This is only available if the recognition moment has been shared by the sender.

• They will also find a link to the full feed on the Social Wall

• You can customise the title of your tile; its layout and white background are fixed

• This tile is only available if Social Recognition is active on your programme

• Profile pictures will only show for those employees who have added a photo in their My Account section

• The user tile will include the registered user's full name, and profile picture/avatar (if the user has uploaded one)

• Only registered users will be searchable and available to add to user tiles

• The tile will show a “Send recognition button”, in platforms that have eCards enabled, (with or without Social Recognition), to invite other users to send an eCard

• All names within the platform are clickable and will lead the reader to the users' profile page

User tile

Available sizes: 2x1 and 2x2 only





• The tile will link automatically to the Health & Wellbeing category of discounts on your programme (only available if retail discounts are enabled)

Tile types - Feedback



Supports tile segmentation - you can show different poll questions to different user groups


• Customise the poll title, add question, and create a list of options your employees can choose from (one answer per user, pre-set answers only)

• The header will be the same colour as your site’s top menu bar; fonts are fixed

• Publish the poll straight away, or schedule it for a later date

• Poll results (total responses and % of answers for each option) are stored in Reward Manager

Tile types - Recognition






• The tile will show the work anniversaries of registered users, up to 30 days in advance

• This is based on the start dates you have uploaded to our system

• You can choose to display: top eCard senders; top eCard recipients; top Recognition senders; top Recognition recipients; top Blog Authors; top Reactions; top Commenters; top Activity (combining all elements in the list)

• You can organise the leaderboard as a top 5, top 10 or top 25 (the “See More” link will open a pop-up to see the full rankings)

• You can also choose a timeframe: last 30 days, this quarter, last year, last 90 days

• If you’d like to display different types of stats on your homepage, simply add separate leaderboard tiles

• The user looking at the tile is always shown in their up-to-date position on the leaderboard, to help them track their ranking

• The tile shows the total count of eCards and awards sent or received by each employee

• You can also choose a timeframe: last 30 days, this quarter, last year, last 90 days

• For employees who haven’t yet sent or received recognition, the tile will display a prompt to send some

• The tile shows the total amount available in the employee’s recognition balance (i.e. monetary awards they have received and not yet spent)

• The tile shows the total amount available in the Instant Award pots the employee is owner of, so they’re aware of how much they have left to send monetary recognition

• For employees who are not owners of an Instant Award pot, the tile will display a message explaining they don’t have a balance to send

• The tile will show the latest 3 recognition moments each employee has received, and a link to see past recognition moments

• For employees who haven’t yet received recognition, a prompt to send some will appear

My Recognition tile






• You can choose whether the tile should show the latest recognition moment for each employee, or a random recognition moment the employee has received

• This tile is only available if Social Recognition is active on your programme. As long as this is the case, eCards, Instant Awards and Nominations sent privately can all appear

• For employees who haven’t yet received recognition, a prompt to send some will appear
