You will need the serial number of your machine to ac vate your vehicles warranty, to fi nd the loca on of your serial plate go to the inside back cover of this document.

Servicing SchedulesServicing your Scarab Sweeper is a key part of keeping your vehicle performing at its very best and an essen al part of keeping your warranty valid.See below for the servicing schedule for your vehicle. Should you require Servicing or Repair and Maintenance Contracts for your vehicles please see page 6.Service Schedules are also available to download fromwww.scarab-sweepers.com.

Scarab M65TServicing is carried out every 500 hours - Intermediate inspec ons every 250 hours. Servicing on the M65T is only for Scarab equipment and not the vehicle chassis.

Scarab Merlin and Magnum RangeServicing is carried out every 2000 hours - Intermediate inspec ons every 250 hours.Servicing on the Merlin and Magnum range is only for Scarab equipment and not the vehicle chassis.

Scarab M25HServicing is carried out every 500 hours - Intermediate inspec ons every 250 hours.An inspec on is carried out by Scarab at the fi rst 50 hours free of charge.*

Scarab MC210VM Euro 6 Engine - Servicing is carried out every 250 hours.Kubota T4 Engine - Servicing is carried out every 500 hours. - Intermediate inspec ons every 250 hours.An inspec on is carried out by Scarab at the fi rst 50 hours free of charge.*

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that machine services are carried out at the correct scheduled mes, to comply with the warranty terms and condi ons (except for customers who have a service contract with Scarab Sweepers Ltd. or their appointed representa ves).

The maintenance schedule should be carried out in conjunc on with the operator’s daily and weekly checks. The amount of me to carry out the servicing will be greatly increased where operator checks are not carried out.

A service reminder is programmed into the CANbus screen and a symbol will be displayed at service intervals.

Scarab Training CoursesOperator TrainingThe operator training course off ered by Scarab Sweepers is a one day course and is designed to encompass all aspects of machine opera on. By the end of the course the operator (dependent on ap tude) should have an understanding of the sweeping controls, theory of machine opera on, operator maintenance, se ng and brush selec on for varying applica ons, health and safety of operator, their colleagues, the general public and third party property.

A Scarab operator cer fi cate of competence is issued on sa sfactory comple on of this course. Operator courses are provided free of charge with newly purchased machines.

Training on exis ng or older machinery can also be provided. Please contact our Transport Coordinator for details.

Training Course General Informa onService Training Course TimesTraining courses start at 9.00am and fi nish at 16.30pm. Registra on is from 8.30am to 9.00am. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. If your delegate(‘s) require any special dietary needs please contact Scarab in advance.

Travel ArrangementsScarab are able to arrange airport transfers as necessary. Once fl ights details are known we can provide a quote.

Accommoda onScarab can provide a list of recommended hotels and are able to arrange a reserva on on your behalf. All bills should be se led directly with the hotel. Cancella on or rooms not taken are the responsibility of the customer.

Safety FirstScarab will provide the necessary high visibility jackets, ear defenders and safety glasses where necessary.All delegates MUST provide their own safety footwear, failure to comply may result in the delegate(‘s) being unable to complete the course.

Warranty Statement1. Scarab Sweepers Limited (hereina er referred to as the Company) warrants that (subject to the other

provisions of the published Terms and Condi ons of Sale - available upon request) upon delivery and for a period of 12 months from the date of actual delivery, or 2,000 running hours from the date of actual delivery whichever is sooner, the Goods correspond with their specifi ca on at the me of delivery, and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

2. The Company does not warrant the condi on or quality of any used Goods supplied to the Customer, or other truck manufacturers’ chassis cab content or to any other component not manufactured by the Company and any such warranty claims must be submi ed to the manufacturer of that component, or their locally appointed agent.

3. The Company shall not be liable for a breach of any of the warran es in condi on 1 unless the Customer gives wri en no ce of the defect to the Company, and (if the defect is as a result of damage in transit) to the carrier, within 7 days of the me when the Customer discovers or ought to have discovered the defect.

4. The Company shall not be liable for a breach of any of the warran es in condi on 1 if the Customer makes any further use of such Goods a er giving such no ce, the defect arises because the Customer failed to follow the Company’s oral or wri en instruc ons as to the storage, installa on, commissioning, use or maintenance of the Goods or (if there are none) good trade prac ce, or the Customer alters or repairs such Goods without the wri en consent of the Company, or uses non genuine parts to eff ect a repair.

5. The following consumable items listed are excluded from the Company warranty:All fuel oils, An freeze, All brush link pivots and bushes, Wander hoses, suc on nozzles, Body inlet ducts, wearing plates, High pressure water pump piston seals and valves, Door seals, Inlet seals, Ba eries, Tyres, All brushes, Li cables, Rubber skirts, Suc on nozzle wheels, Flap trunking, Defl ectors, Screens fl aps or blanking plates, Water pump diaphragm valves and water jets, All fi lter strainers and elements, Windows, Glass mirrors, Light bulbs, Fuses, Brake lining pads, Auxiliary drive belts and any other part normally regarded as consumable.

6. Any parts replaced under the terms of this warranty will be covered by the unexpired por on of this warranty.

7. Subject to condi ons 3 and 4, if any of the Goods do not conform with any of the warran es in condi on 1 the Company shall at its op on repair or replace such Goods (or the defec ve part) or refund the price of such Goods at the pro rata Contract rate provided that, if the Company so requests, the Customer shall, at the Customer’s expense, remove the defec ve Goods or part of such Goods and return the Goods or the part of such Goods which is defec ve to the Company. Parts replaced under warranty will be delivered by the Company FOB port of exporta on.

8. If the Company complies with the terms contained in this statement it shall have no further liability for a breach of any of the warran es in condi on 1 in respect of such Goods. No representa ve or agent of Scarab Sweepers Limited has the authority to add or to vary these Warranty Condi ons except with the Company’s offi cial confi rma on in wri ng from Scarab Sweepers Limited, head offi ce in Marden, Kent, England.

9. For further informa on, please refer to the Company’s Terms and Condi ons of Sale. In the event of confl ict between this Warranty Statement and the Company’s Terms and Condi ons of Sale the la er will prevail.
