Ujjivan is a public limited company registered under the Companies Act 1956. It is a
Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) holding Certificate of Registration No. N-02-00224
dated 31/10/2005 from the Reserve Bank of India* under Section 45 1A of the Reserve Bank of
India Act 1934. We have also been classified as NBFC-MFI by RBI vide its approval in
September 2013 in line with its Circular DNBS.CC.PD.No.250/03.10.01/2011-12 dated 2nd
December 2011
