With Wordle you can repeat phrases or words and that makes them bigger. Name three characters and write two phrases about each describe them physically and their personality. This will save your wordle as a jpg and you can open it in Photoshop. Part III Photoshop In Photoshop, open a new file probably 11 x 8.5 if landscape or 8.5 x 11. Select the paint bucket and fill it with white. On a new layer, open the ‘open book.png’ file which you have downloaded from google drive. Using the lasso tool circle it then copy past it to the back ground. In edit transform you can select scale, then you can drag it and size it.

Open your wordle in Photoshop. Check to make sure you have selected the background eraser. Then using the quick select brush click on the background of your wordle. This brings up the marching ants. You can then hit delete and remove the background. SAVE AS A PNG.
Once you do this you can use the lasso tool, circle and select the wordle, copy and paste onto the open book. Almost done—if you would like you can explore brushes and add some specks, fire, fairy dust…. Done? Save as a jpg and email to [email protected].
Part B The written partYou can type or hand write a three paragraph summary of your book include: 1) begin with a hook and tell setting, three characters and a brief description; 2)three events that happen, what the problem is how the characters solve it; 3)what the author wants you to know and understand from reading the book.
