변경 Correctable ECC 처리 절차

어떤 변경이 이루어 지나요? UCSM 3.1(1) or CIMC 2.0(9) 이후로는 thresholds가 발생해도 시스템이 다운되지 않습니다. 즉, 메모리는 더이상 CECC thresholds로 인해서는 "Inoperable" or "Degraded"되지 않습니다.

고객이 당장 업그레이드를 하기 어렵다면? 임시적으로 메모리 카운트를 리셋할 수 있습니다. 하지만 또 발생할 가능성이 있기 때문에 권고하진 않습니다.

What is ECC? ECC (which stands for Error Correction Code) RAM is very popular in servers or other systems with high-value data as it protects against data corruption by automatically detecting and correcting memory errors. Standard RAM uses banks of eight memory chips in which data is stored and provided to the CPU on demand. ECC RAM is different as it has an additional memory chip which acts as both error detection and correction for the other eight RAM chip
