Had the chance to learn how to use some AT (Assistive Technology)devices such as Dynavox and a touchscreen computer
These devices are great for the classroom and the enhancement of a lesson plan
Activities
Also had the privilege to help students with their Native American poster boards
In return I learned a couple of things that did not know about Native American tribes

• They are true professionals in the classroom
• Picked up a lot of pointers on classroom management and planning academic lessons
Reflection of Experience
No longer afraid of getting involved and procrastination of helping others
Seeing children learn and become attached to you can leave a lasting effect
Always help others because you never know when it your turn to need help
Learned that there is a vast difference in Elementary Education and Exceptional Education. Not all children are alike and each child has different needs
