Transcript of UCLA Center X Conference on Teaching, Leading, and Living in Solidarity
Teaching, Leading, andLiving in Solidarity
April 22, 2017 • 8:00am - 2:00pmThe April 22 convening aims to deepen the understanding and extend the networks of Los Angeles educators so that we are better able to respond effectively to the threats posed to
civil rights and civil liberties by the current administration. Interactive sessions with civil rights attorneys, community advocates, and LA teachers and school leaders will inform, prompt
dialogue, and initiate plans for individual and collective action. We encourage school teams to participate and develop school action plans.
