WHAT IS UCLU?

University College London Union, founded in 1893, is England’s oldest students’ union.

We operate independently from UCL to bring you various extracurricular activities, provide commercial services and to represent your academic interests.

We’re here to ensure you have the best university experience possible.

WHAT IS UCLU?

The principle function of your Union is to represent the needs of all UCL students at a college, local and national level.

Student Officers are democratically elected by you to run the Union and make decisions about its strategic direction. Find them at uclu.org/officers

As an international student, you are represented by a Welfare & International Students’ Officer, Mehj, who strives to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all. Contact Mehj at [email protected]

Each UCL Faculty/Department has a Student Academic Representative (StAR) for every level of study across all programmes.

There are over 1200 StARs working to represent you.
