Behaviour change is increasingly recognised as

central to human wellbeing, social cohesion and

    sustainability. Changing behaviour is a

    challenging and complex process, requiring

theories, methods and evidence from many

    academic disciplines. UCL has considerable

expertise in behaviour change, which until now

has been fragmented and scattered across

    departments, divisions and faculties.

    Funded by the Provosts Strategic

Development Fund together with support from

    UCLsGrand Challenge for Health and

Wellbeing and five Faculty Deans, the Centre

aims to increase the quality and quantity of

academic activity in behaviour change at UCL,

increase its public profile and its engagement

with policy-makers and support UCL in

becoming a leading and world renowned

centre for expertise in behaviour change.
