WHAT IS UCF CARES?
UCF Cares is an initiative which seeks to categorize an extensive source of programs and resources dedicated to fostering a caring community of knights. It is an initiative that endeavors to help UCF feel like a smaller University by “building a culture of care, one Knight at a time.”
Answer:
WHAT DOES UCF CARES WANT?UCF Cares wants every Knight to care about the health and safety of
their peers, and feel comfortable empathetically connecting them to the appropriate resources.
WHAT DOES UCF CARES DO?Assists in connecting students, staff and faculty with…
1. …care related resources and programs focused on health and safety.2. ...finding an appropriate network of support.3. …connecting to advocate programs.4. …care-related education and training.
Questions:1. Why would UCF feel interested in wanting to
build a more caring culture?2. Why would UCF Cares feel interested in
specifically lecturing to this class?

exhausted. They often tell you that they just feel overwhelmed, or that they can’t look at their homework without crying.
