We recap last year’s programme and focus more on the 17th & 18th centuries, Central Asia and catch up with China’s latest initiatives. Through presentations, readings and discussions we explore the history, personalities, trade, art, science, economics, and geopolitics of the Silk Road countries and their impact on the UK.
