Typography

The arrangement of typography involves changing: point size, line-spacing leading, line length, letter-spacing tracking and typefaces

What is Typography

Definitions• Point size: The relative measure of the size of

a font• Line-spacing leading: The distance between the

baselines of successive lines of type. • Line length: The width of a block of typeset text

(usually measured in units of length e.g inches or points or characters per line)

• Letter-spacing tracking: consistent degree of increase or decrease of space between letters. Affects density in a line or block of text.

• Typefaces: a particular design of type/ font used

Fonts for the masthead:When looking for fonts I needed one that would be bold and decorative as the questionnaire at the beginning concluded however I also wanted it to be fairly plain. Out of the fonts on this page I preferred the really bold ones compared to the shaped decorative ones. The two that stood out to me most were the two with the A filled in as I saw potential to insert an image into the filled in area.
