Parallelograms:-a four-sided plane rectilinear figure with opposite sides parallel.Rhombus:-a quadrilateral all of whose sides have the same length.Rectangle:-a plane figure with four straight sides and four right angles, especially one with unequal adjacent sides, in contrast to a square.

Definitions Of

Quadrialterals

Square:-

a plane figure with four equal straight sides and four right angles.

Kite:-

a kite is a quadrilateral whose four sides can be grouped into two pairs of equal-length sides that are adjacent to each other. In contrast, a parallelogram also has two pairs of equal-length sides, but they are opposite each other rather than adjacent.

Definitions Of

Quadrialterals

Trapezium:-

a quadrilateral with one pair of sides parallel.

Isosceles Trapezium:-

an isosceles trapezoid (isosceles trapezium in British English) is a convex quadrilateral with a line of symmetry bisecting one pair of opposite sides, making it automatically a trapezoid.

Properties Of

Quadrilaterals(To Be

Covered)

Parallelogram

Opposite sides are congruent (AB = DC).

Opposite angels are congruent (D = B).

Consecutive angles are supplementary (A + D = 180°).

If one angle is right, then all angles are right.

The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.

Rhombus

All sides are congruent by definition.

The diagonals bisect the angles.

The diagonals are perpendicular bisectors of each other.

All the properties of a parallelogram apply (the ones that matter here are parallel sides, opposite angles are congruent, and consecutive angles are supplementary).

Rectangle

All the properties of a parallelogram apply (the ones that matter here are parallel sides, opposite sides are congruent, and diagonals bisect each other).

All angles are right angles by definition.

The diagonals are congruent.

Square

All the properties of a rhombus apply (the ones that matter here are parallel sides, diagonals are perpendicular bisectors of each other, and diagonals bisect the angles).

All the properties of a rectangle apply (the only one that matters here is diagonals are congruent).

All sides are congruent by definition.

All angles are right angles by definition.

Kite

The diagonals of a kite meet at a right angle.

Kites have exactly one pair of opposite angles that are congruent.

Trapezium

At least one pair of opposite sides are equal.

Diagonals bisect each other.

At least one pair of opposite angles are equal.

Isosceles Trapezium

Opposite sides of an isosceles trapezoid are the same length (congruent).

The angles on either side of the bases are the same size or measure (also congruent).

The diagonals are congruent.
