Wetlands are transition zones. It is the place where the flow of water, energy, sun and nutrients meet to make an ecosystem. It also provides a habitat for wildlife (see next slide). A desert can be formed by three different ways: 1. Inland areas lack moisture from air 2. Arid or dry regions are caused by not being near a large body of water. 3.
