Tying and Fishing the Caddis Lifecycle. Caddis are one of the most important food sources for trout. While much is made about the Mother's Day Caddis Hatch, caddis play a much bigger role than just one day or week. Hav- ing a knowledge of the caddis lifecycle will help you throughout the summer as they continue to hatch into autumn. We will discuss fishing the lifecycle and fishing through a hatch situa- tion, as well as tying flies to match those stages. Bring your own vise and tools. All other materials will be provided.
