•The program will check for the minimum requirements at the time of installation.
If the minimum requirements are not found, the program will not allow the installation.
•If .NET 2.0 or later is not found, the program will prompt the user to it to install this software first.

Program Availability
The public release will be available for download from the Tyco Flow Control (TFC) Sizing website.
CDs will be made available after the public release (2-3 weeks).

○ Default file path is C:\Program Files\Tyco Flow Control\PRV2SIZE\○ The user can select an alternate location during the installation
Where is the ‘Tags’ database? Local hard drive
○ C:\Documents and Settings\(computer id)\Application Data\Tyco Flow Control\Obsidian A version that will allow users to save tags to a network SQL database will be
available by the end of the year

Revisions can only be applied to saved tags.
Current revision can be viewed by right-clicking on a tag in the Tag Library or the tag tab and selecting ‘Properties.’
The list of past revisions can be viewed by clicking on the ‘Past Revisions’ button under the tag properties.

Saving as a New RevisionOpen a Tag.Right-click on the tag tab, and select ‘Save As New
Revision.’ In the ‘Current Revision’ box, change the revision
number, reason, and enter initials into at least one of the ‘Witness’ boxes.
If a revision is not required to be saved, click on the ‘Cancel’ button.

When the Required Flow Capacity is

How do I import old SafetySize tags into the new software?
The TYCO PRV²SIZE program does not support importing data from SafetySize. In order to get old information into the new program, the data must be manually entered into the new program.

conversion module.

English. A mechanism is in place that will allow the program to

Why do the reaction forces not appear? Reaction force is a function of the diameter of the outlet flange.
For all models, there are configuration options that must be selected before that diameter can be determined.

The configuration module of the TYCO PRV²SIZE program has been written so that standard constructions will result without errors being generated. If the desired configuration is special, then the user should use the custom check boxes to enter that information.

I cannot modify the model number.The program has been purposely setup to not allow
the user to modify the model number. A method has been established so that a ‘special’ place holder is placed in the model number if a custom configuration is setup. The model number will also place an indication in the model number that it is special.
