7356G SFU GPON ONTAs the industry pioneer of truly independent ONT solutions, TXPsstandards based ONT family brings world class features and tremendousflexibility to carrier GPON deployments, while offering the broadest arrayof proven OLT interoperability.
Based on widely available System-on-a-Chip (SoC) architecturesthat yield superior performance over older proprietary FPGA-based designs, TXPs GPON ONTs offer an unparalleled featureset, all provided through a single downloadable software imagefrom any OLT platform.
EthernetThe 7356G SFU supports data services through a 10/100/1000Base-TEthernet interface via RJ-45 connector. It meets IEEE 802.3specifications and supports full and half duplex modes.
OpticalThe 7356G SFU supports network connectivity through an SC/APC fiber connector. This interface supports 1550 nm for video overlay, 2.488Gbps 1490 nm optical downstream network services traffic and 1.244 Gbps 1310 nm optical upstream data burstsper ITU-T G.984.2 Amd 1 Class B+ optics with power leveling capability .POTSThe 7356G SFU supports basic telephone service through two POTS interfaces. Each interface is supported by anRJ-11 and an IDC connector.
VideoThe 7356G SFU supports CATV RF-video service through a single F-Type coaxial connector.
RF ReturnTXPs RF return implementation is fully integrated in the ONT and is compliant with ITU-T standards for threewavelength GPON deployments, as well as SCTE 55-1 and 55-2 standards that support Set Top Boxes (STBs) fromthe two major manufacturers.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS Operating temperature range: ONT -40 C to +46 C (-40 F to 114.8 F) ambient plus solar load Operating temperature range: Outdoor Enclosure -40 C to +65 C (-40 F to 149 F) Remotely provisioned and managed by standard G.984.4 OMCI management protocol for alarm and AVC
reporting, software download and activation with integrity checking and automatic rollback, MIB upload and MIBreset support via standard OMCI commands.
Supports up to 60 VLANs providing tagging, double tagging, and VLAN switching. Supports QoS with four traffic classes for triple-play services support At the TC layer, the GPON interface provides up to 8 T-CONTs (including OMCI) and can support both single
and multiple T-CONT traffic mapping. RSSI for measurement of optical link performance and ONT-initiated power leveling. Optional powering through 802.3af PoE with integrated support for UPS alarms. Power management extends POTS capability in the event of power loss. Outer enclosure provides protection from environmental hazards as well as intrusion and tampering. Intrusion alarm is activated when the door is opened. A TXP head-end RF modulator is available for upstream data return channels. Required for installations that
use the Motorola head-end. Fully RoHS and WEEE compliant
