A safe, customized client

The Trux 600 Wireless Client Terminal is a robustclient, adapted for client/server environments. Itcomes with Windows XP Embedded, or Win-

dows CE, which enable total control of the userenvironment. Users only have access to func-tions they need for doing their jobs. The Trux 600Wireless Client Terminal comes in various confi-gurations to meet your requirements. You selectprocessor and primary memorybased on theapplications that will be run. The screen, which isequipped with touch functionality, comes in dif-ferent resolutions and light intensity dependingon how and where the computer will be used.A flash disk is used for storage. Various acces-sories are connected via the many easily access-ible connection options: wireless or USB, serialport, PC card, or Ethernet.

The Trux 600 is developed to tolerate brutal tre-atment in industrial environments over the longtermfrom knock-resistant magnesium casesto sturdy internal components that are clas-sified for industrial use. Extra reinforcement is

built into card and screen holders, cabling, andmounting brackets. The computers are rigo-rously tested in certified laboratories and in realindustrial environments to ensure that they

tolerate dampness, extreme heat and cold, jolts,shock, and vibrations.

Reliable and safe

The Trux 600 comes with battery backup and apower-saving function, built into the accompany-ing Trux Computer Manager. This software alsosenses power-supply dips and can, for example,lower the screens light density and shut off thecomputer after a specified time so that user dataisnt lost. For safety, the screens can be auto-matically blacked out when vehicles are moving

so that operators arent distracted. The Trux 600is protected against damages from lightning,power surges, and similar events by its externalpower converter.
